I'm also a recent graduate of mechanical engineering and i dont agree with your statement that we have to first get experience and then apply for masters, i have also applied for a management program. i believe they called him for interview because of his huge study gap! its the other way around
Everyone has their different circumstances bro i have shared his experience which he had with visa officer but still we can only predict that what actually visa officer has in his mind still its been a while he’s waiting for his decision and second thing is its only a recommendation that do some experience in designated field if you’re switching your field of study and one more thing bro gap doesn’t matter as long as you justify it properly i have friends here with me having 7,8 years gap and still they manage to get study visas even with their dependents.

It’s depends on your university some universities allows students to come after their enrolment process as well but some don’t but if you take my opinion try in January intake

I had also faced 1 hour and 23 mnts interview on 12 july ...and still got no responce....
