that is head voice because chest and falsetto have a break but with head voice you can do exactly this...this exercise helped me learn to do head voice
Really? I am not quite sure where my registers lock into place, so I simply use the term falsetto for everything above chest. I think falsetto is part of the Head Voice and you can make a seamless transition from chest to falsetto. Only flageolet and whistle are „disconnected“ from the „natural registers“ as far as I know, so there would be a break. I thought this video is chest to falsetto but maybe it‘s chest to head voice (mix voice) to falsetto, right?
It's a matter of terms but there are 3 registers here, first the chest, then the head voice or voce faringea which is used to create a mix voice and also helps in the unification of chest and falsetto which is the last register here, but it's not a normal airy falsetto, it has good vocal closure and this is not because of TA muscles but because of the apoggio and the aryephiglotic sphincter, that is why it's different from head voice.
