Right now all the tanks I have are 5 gal or less, and 2 of them are no filter ones. With a great variety of fishes in them, from guppies to a school of 4 corys in the 5 gal. No issues at all with them.
I have bought a 1.5 gallon tank for my 4 year old son it has a filter the lady at fish store said only beta can live in a tank that small but I feel like once you turn the filter on the beta can't even swim to weak for current any advice
Small tanks are for seasoned fish keepers, who know what they are doing, but I can see the appeal of small tanks, especially all in one small tanks. But I simply collect them without putting fish in…
@@cooladam9930 No, actually the main problem with fish tanks is that people do not try to emulate their natural habitats, (Introducing driftwood, plants etc), on top of this the problem with tank sizes is that fish produce waste, which produces ammonia and nitrates, to control the concentration of which you need larger tanks. In reality, keeping a fish is no less cruel than keeping a cat or a dog.

I'll have.
To say the guppy
Corys cannot live in a 5 gallon tank, only pygmys can live in a minimum of 10 gallons and anything else needs a 20 gallon
None of these fish can go in 1 gallons most of them five some 10
