1998, I was in Girdwood which is gone now and I walked around the cells and the execution room, I remember all the a4 bits of paper with big red hands and the words ‘Our only crime was being loyal’ rain would come in through the roof and water would reside around the cells and walkways. Cold ,damp,grey and miserable. We should actually put our illegal benefits Migrants in places like this instead of 4 star hotels .

Lived up the street from the jail ( cliftonpark avenue) could hear the prisoner's once in a while !!
Defintely reccomend! Went with my dad yesterday, a great experience 😁
