Yes, on grills and other items that are vapor draw. LPG for auto fuel is liquid draw. There is a hose in the bottle that goes to the bottom corner of the tank, allowing you to normally mount the tanks either vertically, or horizontally. I have since discovered that the gauges are pretty worthless, and I just run my tanks to empty, in any position, always making sure to orient them so that the liquid draw hose is at the bottom most part of the tank.
On my tanks there is just a plug where the vapor draw valve could be. I've never tried it, but I imagine that by installing that valve you could run a line to stoves, lanterns, etc. You should try it and report back.
Good thinking... I've just installed one of the V8 kits on my Chevy 350 (cammed) in my '72 Blazer. I didn't read the post from the person you're responding to, but I am intrigued about what you'tre doing with propane at the camp site. I'd like to tap into the vapor line to run camping stuff since it's so handy. Do you just tap the line with some hardware or what?
I'm interested in your tank mounting. Are you able to get all the propane out of each tank mounted at that angle? Are you having to switch the hose from one tank to another, or do you have a connecting hose? Great kits. I'm ready to get mine going and like this mount style for the back of my pickup.
How do you guys keep the propane mixer from getting warm and running funny in the Desert

What a nice setup. That thing really takes off. What all did you do to the engine to run the turbo?
Would love to see more video footage on how the propane and turbo bits and widgets fit together. Or do I need to make my own video?
Just like a fork truck engine.

Makes me miss the AZ.
