As a kid growing up in the late 90s early 2000's. This was superman. I had a haro mirra flair that my angel of a mother dumped thousands of dollars into. One of my best childhood memories is when I launched a huge 360 over a good sized jump we built in the woods. I gave her a huge hug after that. I miss her so much.
Best bmxer of all time, by far. I watched my hero matt hoffman ride at a music festival and he was the daddy, but deep down i know who is the best ever. Dave mirra. I rode from 91 as a little 11yr old right up until i was 32 i am now 44. Bmx made me feel alive in a lone empty vessel.
this was my moms best friend, my idol and someone who i looked up to. i still can’t believe he’s gone. i remember when i was 6-8 years old he gave me one of his old bikes to have that he used competing and i cherished it until someone stole it out of my back yard. miss him every day
Mirra, Mirra, On the wall -_- He and DMC were my heroes and why I wanted to get a BMX in the 90's. Of course, being a kid in Serbia during 90's meant being in hell and poverty, so nothing came out of that, but at least I got to watch him and McCoy with wide open eyes, not believing someone could do what they could. RIP Hero.
Oh man thank you so much for this! Never seen it until now & it made me cry a good bit. I remember Jaycee's park looking exactly like this when my brother & i first started skating the park...growing up to skate a video game map made famous by Dave was an unreal time. Also really happy to hear the song by Parmelee, before they changed to being a country band. They also came from here in greenville so this was a super sweet treat for me. thank yall so much for this upload!!!
I being a old school ride watching my hero’s like all of the 1987 through 1991 Haro team members , would sit & watch Dave whenever he was on tv , for a mid school rider he definitely was a bad ass , now when I watch old videos of him , it’s like watching a ghost dance across my video screen & my heart drops into my stomach , I get a erie feeling all around me . I in my early 50s still to this day ride , but now I can’t ride vert or street because of a total hip replacement & fused ankles , so I low key ride flatland , I was & still am better at flatland than I ever was at street or vert , .
I’m 36 I’m obviously a little younger than you but old enough. He was definitely one of my heroes as a kid and watching this video made me feel exactly like you described like watching a ghost. I’m a lifelong Christian but it made me hope that if spirits do stick around on this earth that Dave’s spirit is doing this right now.

That's awesome dude 👏
I grew up loving him. He was a hero to me. And then... I got the pleasure of becoming his friend. And I loved him even more. I miss you buddy.

The movie title means so much more now 😢
All good❤
What a shame😢 this boy!
Davey Sprocket!
who is the band singing? anyone know?
I have come back here to provide this answer. It is the unplugged version of "Under My Skin" by Parmalee.
Song?
under my skin by Parmelee. Way back before they became a famous country band...they were a post grunge band also from greenville. the best years!
more accurately
Under My Skin (Unplugged) - Parmalee
Was my absolute favorite as a kid. Granted his game was garbage compared to Matt Hoffmanns
