  • Canton porcelain, also known as Guangcai, originated in Guangdong province and is one of the best known types of Chinese porcelain abroad, thanks to its East-meets-West designs. But the art of hand-painting patterns on porcelain pieces is fading fast, as most factories have switched to mass production using machines. So, together with our friend Nicole, we visited Yuet Tung China Works, the last remaining factory in Hong Kong still preserving this 300-year-old cultural tradition.
This is the third episode of our series One Take, where we take you to youth culture hot spots and more across Asia with one buddy, one camera, and one long shot. Skip at your own risk!
