A version of this without autoEQ for speakers would be interesting. I imagine its the closest you can get to an anechoically flat sound without an actual anechoic chamber to go off of.
amazing! this is a game changer in audio ! if we could quickly AB between the original and the EQd it would be awesome to get more accurate results ! xoxo
My target is diffuse field with a 4db bass shelf a 0.8db/octave tilt, albeit the bass shelf is at a higher frequency. the PEQ is executed well. Overall, a really nice little program! Doing stuff like this suits you more than making 2 minute videos calling x iem/headphone trash
I've noticed that the popular HyperX series of headphones is missing. For the Cloud II, I've found the Filk measurement to be the most accurate. Otherwise, great work.
Are you doing something like what Olive did developing the Harman curve, i.e. having us fiddle with the equalizer knobs? From the looks of the end result, it seems so. Would it be possible to do the tuning with A/B and also to try to adjust the pinna and ear canal related part, possibly separately from the bass and treble preferences? Perhaps you are already doing this, as 40 trials would seem to indicate something like 3-4 tunable factors.
My target falls perfectly in line with tilted diffuse field past the bass shelf. I doubt he is doing anything with pinna gain. My guess is that he is giving you a number of shelf filters in different frequency ranges and then the trials dial in where the shelf filters are and how many db
@@niccster1061the ear gain part around 3 kHz is something that's been investigated by Olive by testing preference for different suggested targets. Regardless of preference that region should be different for different people due to ear and ear canal differences so it would make sense to try to e.g. adjust the overall shape and raise or lower depending on preference. you could have A/B testing for 4 cases: "low/high pinna gain" vs "low/high ear canal gain." Sharur, does this make sense to you? I understand if you don't want to disclose your magic for this business endeavor that will surely transform audio as we know it. Ideally I think you should be clever about the starting point and make use of what is in principle known, i.e. ear geometry, and only then do A/B, to reduce the numbers of training parameters.
@@letsfightinglove00 I did a re run of the trial and yes there is definitely adjustments at ear gain (2800 hz if you were wondering the specific frequency). I also think that peoples perception of ear gain depends on the rest of a tuning, which is why i dont necessarily think its a good starting point. Its probably the last thing that should be adjusted
How do you deal with inconsistent/contradictory preferences? For example, someone rates +5 for a FR and a few songs later gives the same or very similar FR a -5. Maybe this washes out after 40 ratings, but what if it's consistently contradictory?
Somehow yesterday seemed better sound. And still the 'screechy' piece sounded more or less bad on all occasions. I think I would like more weight to the mids, but with lower bass shelf. But also have to admit that I am totally unqualified
Not an audio guy, but I figured I'd give it a try. It's really cool hearing the different changes to the songs was really interesting. I guess I'm a bass head lol and it seems like my target follows the curve really closely once I get past 2khz. Also that under the skin song sounds good.
Sharur gave my life purpose. I don’t know what I would do without him. The Harman target was simply not satisfying my audio itch. PEQdb has made me feel like I was a deaf person granted hearing for the first time. I will always be grateful to you, my love.
what a nice tool :D i don't know if it's here for missing iem , (i didn't found devialet gemini 1 earbuds)i just hope you have a anti ddos protection and be anti sql injection ready if you use sql bcs you can have crazy haters doing shit
The file limit keeps me from uploading my 200 minute Bish songs!
Unironically I've been one of your biggest haters but I have to admit this is master class work. Great job on this.
lmao
A/B rating would be better. Rating 40 samples on scale 1-10 without direct comparison between each other is quite unintuitive.
Maybe both? And maybe a version with even more testing (would be very nice)
Thanks for your efforts to provide the masses more accurate sound representation

TYSM for this,
please also add Artti T10 in the data, I gladly give my measurements from my squig if it expand the database even a little bit.
This is such a godsend. Thanks for this!
Changing the world, 1 step at a time
Perfect Sharur! I am very happy to see this! Thanks for the contributions to this great community.

how did nobody think of doing something like this
Because I am Sharur
Who's wondering if you plan to have the ability to upload your own frequency response Measurements or it will be to complected?
Imagine claiming copyright on measurements 😂
lol

this actually helped a lot, thanks
Wow, it's now significantly better, Perfect even. Thanks for this.
you're welcome
I would recommend putting the original audio next to the equalized one for better reference.
Also please add trn st7 iems.

It'd be cool to upload custom iem/headphones measurements too because some of them are not on the list like my trn mt1 pro.
In the future, it would be cool to have a community preset section with a rating system and something like an editor's choice section
Just tried it. I always thought I'm a basshead but suggests a -10db on subbass.
that's not what it suggests. look at the target curve
@sharuraudio oh alright. I think I'm gonna have to spend more time with it to understand.
I would like to have a target curve to compare my graph to. Now I get a squiggle as a result but I don't know what it means!
What DAC/Amp combo is sufficient for the Moondrop Cosmo currently?
many, but not topping
This is extremely stanford tech bro lmao

the quality of your results depends on the accuracy of your ratings
Why my eq target looks like free field with bass boost
Somehow yesterday seemed better sound. And still the 'screechy' piece sounded more or less bad on all occasions. I think I would like more weight to the mids, but with lower bass shelf. But also have to admit that I am totally unqualified
Would uploading a tone sweep be good idea?
no

i just tried it and it's been good so far
a lot better than auto-eq
alright been using the tool for a while now with a few headphones and i just dont think its as efficient as just equing manually and listening back?
we made a big update
Kz edx pro x is missing, Ik that kz is hated but thats the only iem I own.
Actually awesome!
2-pin or MMCX for ciem?
mmcx is much better
Buds FE missing in the database, pretty common product for everyday use
Working on it! Thank you!

The software was excellent before, might try again to see the improvement! :D
you should
My ears are not design for earbuds of any kind, I have to use headset its comfy. Thank you for your video you make my day.
Illegal use of measurements 😂
are the trials volume adjusted? some sound louder which affects the perceived audio quality.
you are just hearing tonal balance differences, the loudness is the same
@@sharuraudio ah good, thanks for confirming
7hZ x HBB Elua is a masterpiece end game of meta tuning harman expert 99.99% target confirmation HBB-Cancer for Chi-Fi time will show the truth.
idk what that is but ima go and try it i love peq stuff lmfao
amazing
still wearing stanford merch :lmao:
Please add sony wf c700N
kz PRX is missing
thank you
