As a lifelong twins fan, this is not a video I expected to watch. Seeing players I was able to appreciate who never got their due really feels good. A twins legend Brunansky gets a shoutout, and a criminally underrated peak for dozier gets some credit. Gotta love it.
I would love a video for Brett Gardner. As a Yankee fan that got into baseball around 2010-11 Derek Jeter was the initial idol, but Gardy quickly became my favorite player and is still by far my favorite baseball player ever. The speed, loyalty. and heart that he played with every game, Brett Gardner was the heart and de facto captain of the Yankees when Jeter left, and means more to the Yankees of the 2010s then any non Yankee fan can understand.
I vividly remember him CARRYING that Twins line-up on a few poastseason pushes down the stretch its rare 2see 1guy have such an impact in a sport like baseball and im not a twins fan😂 every time they needed a big hit he delivered it felt like
Michael Cuddyer is another twin that was underrated. Also Jason kubel. He didn’t have a big window of great, but he did hit a walk off grand slam off Mariano rivera lol
Dozier was my favorite player growing up, and I have his jersey now. I rooted for him before he had that monster season in 2016, and I witnessed his wild card home run live. I was one of the only twins fans in my section that absolutely got hyped... then Didi happened. Love that there's a video on this man. He had an underrated, decent prime and I'm glad he got a ring. He'll be remembered from me as the light in the dark times for the 2016 Twins.
That Twins-Tigers game still remains cemented in my memory. Absolutely beautiful summer night in MN, having a bonfire in the backyard, went inside to grab a drink and turned the radio on to hear the HR occur. Went absolute ape. Then proceeded to berate a Royals fan that Dozier deserved to be the Final Vote recipient over Moose. Thank god the Bull Dozier showed out and hit another HR in the ASG!
I’d like to see a video about Skip Schumaker, he was very underrated in my opinion. He was also just an all around great guy and the Cardinals really screwed up giving the manager job to Oli and not Skip! That decision will haunt them for years to come!
I got him off waivers in I think 2015? Not sure. But his next like three years were crazy production that I got for free. And playing a premium position too.
I feel like he’s more well known than someone like Dozier based on his longer career and large list of teams, but Mark Reynolds might make a cool video. Hitting nearly 300 HRs and still hanging your career as essentially a league average hitter (103ops+) is a pretty wacky combo. Dude hit tanks in that 2008-2012 window though
Nice video, great use of statistics and script to blend together a good story about an unsung hero. Could you possibly make a video about Christopher Morel. He had a great 1/2 ish season with the cubs this year with many memorable moments. I think you should do a video about him possibly becoming a next big star! Thanks for the upload:)
As someone from mn I grew up watching dozier and Mauer and I loved those guys and got to eventually meet Brian when I was younger so it’s nice to see a Brian Dozier video
To Nationals fans, Dozier will be remembered as a World Series champion who partied without a shirt in series-clinching celebrations and the championship parade
I can't believe I forgot about this guy. He was a workhorse in my fantasy baseball league multiple years. The dude could get on base and hit for power.
Dozier was my teammate on the show for 9 consecutive seasons on 4 separate teams and I still can't tell how valuable we were together or how that happened. I was pissed when he got traded away.
I feel like this is somewhat how ha seong Kim approaches the plate, as a padres fan I can’t recall him hitting very many if any opposite field home runs.
Idk if its because he looke 37 since he was like 26!!....but i never realized his peak was that short he was only drafted in 2009?? He was outta the league by 33?? I know im not the only one who always thought he was older than that😂😂
I’ve seen Shawn Green and Brett Gardner suggested, totally down for either of those guys. Would also be down to see notable Canadians Eric Gagne and Russell Martin
Would be psyched to see a video on Ricky Romero. Dude had a couple really really good seasons with the Blue Jays and then fell off the face of the earth. Sportsnet did a documentary about his mental health struggles. Could be an interesting video
Can you do one on how good Tim Salmon was? Everyone always used to make Trout comparisons, with them both being on the Angels and having fish names. But how good was he really?
You showed Pedrioa in the video. Dude was on his way to the Hall until that scumbag Machado ended his career. Would love to see a video about The Laser Show.
Juan Pierre. Was a speed demon that wasn’t really thought of all that much during his career. Almost hit .300 career average. Yes was a bit clumsy with stealing but still.
He a multi time World Series champion with some clutch moment in both championship series he won. He was always consistent for the Phillies and a really good cf and the Phillies didn't really find a good CF since him until Brandon Marsh came
Dozier was one of my favorites when he was playing. Was at that game from the intro and it was absolutely electric.

🙄
The amount of Twins related content SRS is cranking out makes my heart happy. Keep it coming!
agreed, but that line about him being wasted on lousy twins teams hurt. its true, but still damn
Being a MN fan, Dozier is someone who I hold close to my heart, such an underrated player in his prime
I’m kinda young, but I remember being little and liking Dozier. Like, 7 little.
I like this kid!! Editing is solid
Forget any haters and keep putting out your vids.
John Olerud would be a great video in this style.
we got you (almost 4 years ago 😃) th-cam.com/video/mmWLOhyWde8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=YN75fHrIVrSQUDeW
I vividly remember him CARRYING that Twins line-up on a few poastseason pushes down the stretch its rare 2see 1guy have such an impact in a sport like baseball and im not a twins fan😂 every time they needed a big hit he delivered it felt like
As a twins fan, he was everything during that 2015-2017 stretch.🤣😭 he did always come though which was fun but we still blew 💀
Carried some below average squads for a bit for sure. Def underappreciated in this gen
FINALLY SOMEONE TALKS ABOUT DOZER I grew up watching him as a twins fan and I loved him
Michael Cuddyer is another twin that was underrated. Also Jason kubel. He didn’t have a big window of great, but he did hit a walk off grand slam off Mariano rivera lol
Cuddyer is in the Twins HOF at least. Dozier should be there as well
Michael Cuddyer was a beauty, played every position at least once lol
kubel was my favorite player for a while growing up
@@thafinessekid7879 I loved his batting stance in the show. I always raked with it
Cuddy?
Dozier was my favorite player growing up, and I have his jersey now. I rooted for him before he had that monster season in 2016, and I witnessed his wild card home run live. I was one of the only twins fans in my section that absolutely got hyped... then Didi happened.
Love that there's a video on this man. He had an underrated, decent prime and I'm glad he got a ring. He'll be remembered from me as the light in the dark times for the 2016 Twins.
A’s legend Jed Lowrie
I need a john lackey video. A very underrated pitcher and one hell of a personality
I think a video about Yankees legend Didi Gregorius would be 🔥
Such a bright spot during some really dark years for the twins, great player, fun to watch
Excellent video! The Dozier years were rough, but boy were they fun
Dodgers legend
you guys have plenty- let us twins fans have this one 😂
Mets legend
Nats legend
Padres legend
Lebron was better
I’d like to see a video about Skip Schumaker, he was very underrated in my opinion. He was also just an all around great guy and the Cardinals really screwed up giving the manager job to Oli and not Skip! That decision will haunt them for years to come!
I got him off waivers in I think 2015? Not sure. But his next like three years were crazy production that I got for free. And playing a premium position too.
took a second to realize you were talking about fantasy baseball and that you were not a real life MLB GM
I love the Twins and this video brings back so many memories! Thank you!
Shawn Green please. I feel like I'm the only person that remembers him. ❤
Love him!
I remember Shawn. Unfortunately he's remembered more for sitting out the game on Yom Kipper 2001
He was a good pitcher in Backyard Baseball too!
My favorite player when he was with the twins. Gold glove second baseman with tremendous power, very underrated player.
As someone from mn I grew up watching dozier and Mauer and I loved those guys and got to eventually meet Brian when I was younger so it’s nice to see a Brian Dozier video
Yet another banger video from the SRS team
Nats Legend
Underrated Rays icon Wander Franco
To Nationals fans, Dozier will be remembered as a World Series champion who partied without a shirt in series-clinching celebrations and the championship parade
Ever since going to Minnesota for the first time I've absolutely loved this guy he's an all turn favorite
Man, I’m a Royals fan and I still miss him because he was a good player and fun to watch.
Clint Barmes was a criminally underated defender through his time with the rockies and pirates. He is a walking highlight real.
I can't believe I forgot about this guy. He was a workhorse in my fantasy baseball league multiple years. The dude could get on base and hit for power.
Maybe you already did a video on it but the little piranhas teams of the Twins were electric and worth a look
Dozier was my teammate on the show for 9 consecutive seasons on 4 separate teams and I still can't tell how valuable we were together or how that happened. I was pissed when he got traded away.
Dude never played for my favorite team and yet I think about him and use him in immaculate grid constantly, his 2016 was nuts
Nationals legend
Doug Fister was very underrated. Was amazing with the Tigers and then the Nats.
I know im not the only one who always thought he was older than that😂😂
Cody Ross. Someone who became a superstar essentially overnight, but was never able to recapture that flash of lightning in a bottle.
I’ve seen Shawn Green and Brett Gardner suggested, totally down for either of those guys. Would also be down to see notable Canadians Eric Gagne and Russell Martin
Underrated guy who deserves a look? Brandon Moss 2012-14.
Maybe the Blue Jays have their own Dozier in Davis Schneider. Both pull first power hitting second basemen taken late in the draft.
Would love to see a Marco Estrada video. He was incredible
Aramis Ramirez was super underrated and was even on the hof ballot
Hell yeah, always love a middle infielder who can slug.
Dude I always have and always WILL be one of my favorite players
tommy brunansky was my college hitting coach. heard this Dozier story several times. Dudes legit
Would be psyched to see a video on Ricky Romero. Dude had a couple really really good seasons with the Blue Jays and then fell off the face of the earth. Sportsnet did a documentary about his mental health struggles. Could be an interesting video
We need a Todd Frazier video. One of my favorite players of all time
Grady Sizemore’s crazy peak deserves a look, like a skinny Mike Trout before advanced analytics really came into the scene
Let’s go dozier!!!!
todd fraizer was one of my favorite players
Loved his cards when he was in MLB the Show, could do it all in real life and virtually
did you see he's coming back in mlb the show 24?
If you haven’t already, a video of Ben Zobrist’s story would be sick!
I think justin morneau and torii hunter are super under-rated
When Morneau spoiled the mlb's home run derby script and beat Josh Hamilton
No one thinks they're underrated. Morneau won an MVP, and Hunter won 9 Gold Gloves in a row.
as a twins fan, yeah
Can you do one on how good Tim Salmon was? Everyone always used to make Trout comparisons, with them both being on the Angels and having fish names. But how good was he really?
Dozier was just super streaky. He sucked when cold but could carry a team when hot.
This guy got released by the Mets and said f this 30 million is enough to be happy for the rest of my life
Ben sheets, Rickie weeks, Corey hart, JJ hardy, anyone else from that mid/late 2000s-early 2010brewers
I was at a game where he hit an inside the park home run
We lost 2-1 in extra innings meaning he was literally our offense for a game
JJ Hardy would be a fire vid
I was gonna guess Khris Davis by the title, but im more than okay with this! My favorite player ever not named Tony Gwynn.
Adam Jones
Should do one on Miguel Sano.
I don’t know what is with me and twins second baseball being my favorite players post morneau Mauer and cuddy era
Idk if you Have one But a CC or Curtis Granderson
A Jason Kipnis vid would be sick
I want an Eddie Rosario video so badly lol
The King of inducing Balks on 3rd.
Edit: Thank you for the shoutout!
You should do Paul Konerko
Please do one for Mark Buerhle!
PLEASE cover carlos gonzalez
do one on billy hamilton
Id love to see one on Chase Utley
Having 5 good years apparently now makes you underrated.
Gerardo parra video?
Ryan Roberts (Tat Man) somthing of a cult hero in Arizona
Dodgers, Nationals, and Mets legend lmaoooooo
Marlon Byrd on the Cubs. You HAVE TO. Also Reed Johnson
Team icon magglio ordoniez needs one
Do a video on Rick ankiel! Best story in baseball
One who stands out to me is Danny Jansen for the Blue Jays
I need a ryan goins blues jays video
Marco Scutaro pls!
Underrated - Brett Gardner
requesting a video on yermin mercedes linsanity run in 2021
Coco Crisp made me laugh watch baseball when he was on the A's! I cried when they got eliminated as a kid
Would love to see a video on single Cy Young vote-getter 2023 Chris Martin
Video suggestion Mike Napoli
Bro. I need a San Diego Chicken video.
Shane Victorino needs a video
He a multi time World Series champion with some clutch moment in both championship series he won.
He was always consistent for the Phillies and a really good cf and the Phillies didn't really find a good CF since him until Brandon Marsh came
Not to mention he was a product of the Rule 5 draft when the Phillies got him
As a Giants fan.......
Matt Williams and Jeff Kent?😊
Go Giants💯⚾
Cover the brewers pls
I think Alfonso Soriano might have something to say about the 150 HR stat
930 games through first 6 seasons not counting 2 very very brief stints in MLB. 761 games at second base 201 home runs
I know nobody likes him, but Kevin Brown was a one and done on the HoF ballot and was very, very good.
