I love that advice about playing while anxious and wow I wouldn't guess ml7 was that anxious at first especially with these vids literally puts a lot of energy into his streams/vids.
most people are anxious, but it's easiest online to evade it by redirecting to other people's flaws or mistakes. i think the best solution is internally realizing your own mistakes, accept that it's in the past and focus on the things you can improve

Support is hard in overwatch 2 but It really helped me improve my map awearness a ton having to focus on enemies, teamates, health, damage and abilities 🤣 days I'm feeling off I just play tank or dps since they feel so easy after

The way you use lamp is almost perfect everytime I struggle to use it in so many situations because long cool down make me think it's worth to use or not and it's get my friend die alot because I don't think he gonna die
I've learned when you don't know when to use the lamp, try just throwing it when the bullets start flying. You might not get a lot of saves, but you'll get more than by leaving it off cooldown, and the enemy might shoot at it, which means you're mitigating damage AND letting your teammates shoot more effectively (because they're not dodging those shots). In time, you'll start to notice when the lamp gets saves and when it doesn't and THEN you're learning when to use it.

So I'm trying to get better at bap, and the biggest issue I have is his lamp. I can land my shots, I'm getting better at rotating my damage and heals, but my lamp placement is just so damn bad. I'm always either just barely too late or it gets destroyed before it actually counts as a "save"
Best advice is to put it around corners for poking. The enemy can’t hit it.
In terms of timing, I think that's something you're just gonna have to play him more to get the hang of. Soon you'll kind of get a feel for where/when to throw them instinctively. Will it be 100%? no. Not even mL7's are. But it will get them much more consistent. Using Graviton as an example... typically if the enemy doesn't have one tap potential, I'll wait 1-2 seconds before dropping (similar to suzu). When I do, I'll also try to offset the disk a bit (assuming there's no cover for it) so that when it get's focused, the enemy mouse placement is just that bit further away from our heads.
I guess you could sum it up as increasing your Bap game sense and muscle memory through experience
It's kinda like kirikos cleansing. Around half health is ushally when they're about the be hard focused
Not sure if you know but his lamp and heals have same trajectory curve. More you get used to heals more accurate your lamps. Try and read the situation and don't be scared to use it, unless you're expecting enemy ult

I've been maining Bap since I started playing at the start of the Halloween event. I want to get the Blue Steel skin so bad though, I have checked the shop everyday for the last month and I still haven't seen it.
So I have a question for everyone: Does the Blue Steel skin even appear in the just for you section of the shop?

I got mine as a seasonal skin before the Halloween event, I think you just gotta get lucky that it shows up in your shop since I think it randomly cycles through skins

I play only Baptiste and Kiriko. But many people say that Bap does not fit in most team comps and want me to go Kiriko. So I dont know when I should play Bap can someone help?
Don't take all of this as fact, but I personally tend to prefer playing kiriko in more aggressive comps, I find her easier to get cheeky picks with and she pairs super well with pretty much every meta tank right now. That being said, bap is also really strong, I think. He does more damage than kiriko, and can play well in both offensive and defensive comps, but usually he is better for me in defensive ones. If you want to play bap either way, go for it, he's a great hero and if you play well your team should love you. :)
Bap pairs nicely when you have a tank like Orisa or Sigma. Window amplifies their already high Damage, they are pretty stationary and easy to hit, and Lamp can often turn fights when they’ve taken too much damage. Kiriko works better with Rein but ESPECIALLY HOG! her cleanse pretty much counters his biggest weakness of being slept and Anti.
Meh, people just want to be pocketed. Play Bap all you want, sometimes there's a better pick in your comp, but he's never a bad pick.
