a few notes for anyone reading post hotfix: 1) the raider's pull-in is now rangeable (40 yards I think) and los-able, makes a big difference on a few of these packs 2) this one I'm not 100% on, I think the wombo combo of the raider/commander pack going into third boss was changed, the pull-in happens after the charge hits now
DK tank here. I encourage you guys to test this further, but it appears D&D does NOT slow Dread-Captain Lockwood but Heart Strike (it has a 20% slow/snare) does in fact work.
for some reason sometimes when I would dodge the 2nd boss frontal and stack with the melee, the boss would randomly turn at the last second and frontal the group. not sure if a bug or intended, maybe tank just needs to eat the frontal... anyway something to watch out for
That may have been what happened to me in the video, definitely seems like a bug though because you've always been able to sidestep that ability. Hopefully it gets fixed so tanks dont go around accidentally murdering their group
Glad to see u doing this as a drut. I struggle in m+ as a drut. With 610 I have to depend on healers alooot. I even consider rolling into different tank. Blood is one thing but monk or dh would be easier u think?
Personally I think druid feels pretty strong atm, it's just good to remember that these keys are all much harder than people are used to due to the key scaling changes, plus 610 is still relatively low ilvl to be doing the higher keys. You'll get there with some practice and more familiarity with the dungeons, but if you wanted to swap I do think the tanks are pretty close atm that you could play whatever!
i was running a +10 today. Our pally would instant die if he gets slammed right after dot. Any suggestion here? i can see Evoker is easy here because they have a lot of small DRs to handle the slams+dot.
Choosing who to dispel first based on what defensives are available can be very helpful, but also paladin has a few tools they can rotate between as well with Divine Protection/Shield of Vengeance/Bubble, which you can get back between casts assuming you dont get picked every single time.
@@Tactyks truely is - i do not understand why they wont just leave it be like it was in bfa - so tentacle will slam and knock only in cone where tank faces it, so it adds some difficulty and potential danger - but not that annyoing mass knockback on neveryone anywhere...
@@Ao1kami That change was necessary. I don't get some changes they did to the dungeons either. It's like they're not testing them at all after having "an idea" of sorts :/
Basically any debuffs that apply a root or slow effect should prevent the boss from jumping around, so things like hamstring or in the case of the video Moonfire with the Elune's Chosen slow node.
I've had a lot of people asking about it recently so I may start this season, though it would have to wait until after progression is done most likely.
I'm literally about to start a SOB run, and I was like "Let me see if Tactyks has a guide for it.

Interesting, I wonder if it specifically requires a debuff to be applied to the boss in order to count?
@@Tactyks Thunder clap used to work but now I specifically have to use Hamstring on the boss to stop her jumping away

I noticed in m0 chains of ice would work. But in keys it no longer works.

Pugs keep talking about "jumping down" after the first pull, any thoughts on that?
It was a common strat back in BfA, but I think they patched it so that you get teleported out of the dungeon if you try.

I dont believe anything has changed, they occasionally take a few steps but otherwise dont move much.

First boss do you have to kill the adds that keep coming ?
Nope, they will despawn once the boss is defeated and don't hurt a ton as long as the frontals get pointed away!
