BRO!! I watched all of your videos on this unit several times before I decided on it haha Thank you for making those videos! And thanks for the comment!!
I'd never go electric your power bill will be unbelievably high. I got an 80k btu ceiling unit I found free when a local church upgraded their system. Converted it to propane from natural gas with parts I got free from a unit that somebody tossed out and it works great. 2 car garage 1890 built no insulation it heats to 75 no problem within a few minutes then cycles as needed. We're taking 15 deg outside temp I'm wearing a T shirt.
Thanks for the comment! So in my case the house is full electric and the garage is insulated extremely well so it has a negligible impact on the heating bill keeping the garage 50 year round and heating up to 70 multiple times a week for working out there. Now for context my house(the non garage part) is like Swiss cheese so many winter months when we get down into single digits the heating bill will get up to 500/600 a month and that was before putting the heater in the garage. I will have propane in my next house and still am torn between gas heat due to wanting AC as well and mini splits possibly able to heat cool without having an additional unit
Was thinking about getting mine replaced since it cracked but with the cost of a new garage door and since the current one is r9 and I think the new one was going to be R11 I figured I would save the money for beer haha
I'm here watching your video cause I went the cheaper route last winter buying the COMFORT ZONE heater,it worked fine until about a week in to this winter & it went on fire..I highly don't recommend a comfort zone...
Well done on the video and install, I liked the progression of the insulation and finishing. It's been a great unit for me!

Insulated garage door will help also.

I second the insulated door.I paid 5k for a door & saved in electric to go fishing more often..lol
