Dana is gonna LOVE Carter in UFC. Dude is talented, works hard, but also isn't afraid to rub guys the wrong way. Dude never holds back saying what he feels. I'll say this though, he's also respectful of the media and always gives his honest opinion. Never sugarcoats anything.
"I only watch this sport to see amazing young folks like you expressing through fantastic bodies in competition. It's all about the sports spirit and more of that beautiful creativity. Thanks a ton! ❤
Sometimes you got to take a break and you know when you need that rest you better take it are you smart for doing what he did he had his reasons for doing it I applaud him for whatever real reason he is definitely an amazing wrestler he gets it in
everyone in the comments saying duck bro carter would tech shane! shane ain’t worth carters time if he’s had a little injury that could become a big one or he has the flu and he knows that, that’s why he said he’s mature enough to not go out there😂😂😂
I love Carters Candor….Its funny he remarks about the Amine’s….Doe that family not realize EVERYONE looks at themselves as buttholes. Nobody realizes the grind that wrestlers go through….Ppl fail to realize they are human, and not there for your satisfaction….PLUS, these are kids and young men still developing into adults….get off their asses.
I heard he and Kasak have a touch of the flu. It wouldn't be fair to Griffith to wrestle him and possibly pass it on to him. Also, even if Carter had a really, really bad case of the flu he'd still bonus Griffith.
I’m sure Griffith would have taken the risk of contracting -oh no- the flu(!!!!) to get a chance to wrestle him as he’s a high level competitor, who wrestles. But we won’t know because one of them showed up, and the one who didn’t show up, says what would have happened if he had. Credit to Bearclaw for the hard fight.
He should be glad to get a rest. Especially with the worst ref in the big 10 reffing. And i mean for both teams! More stoppages in matches than any other official. It's ridiculous!
I don’t have a problem with sitting one out here and there, and there’s not much more this dude has to prove, but don’t credit your “maturity” for NOT wrestling and then shit on your opponent who showed up to wrestle you, and bearclaw as well, who actually did wrestle and actually almost won. As far as having the flu goes, I remember Retherford beating Sorensen in multiple OTs while sick as a f*cling dog with flu. Must have been his “immaturity” driving him to do such a thing.
It's okay. It gave Barraclough a chance to wrestle in a match. He did pretty good too, only losing 2-1 on a fluke reversal by Griffith. Shane Griffith seems to be overrated. Starocci will have a field day with him.
Would probably rather hear from someone who actually wrestled in the dual. Starocci is not exactly known for his humility. But it is a little much for him to spin his decision not to wrestle as somehow virtuous
His remark about "they don't score a point" doesn't hold weight here. He didn't compete, don't go barking like you did. If you're gonna be matside, be matside.
@@npierce14 I know how good he could be, but we didn't see him wrestle. Doesn't matter how good he is, he obviously wasn't good enough to compete. He just wanted to sit matside to study Griffith while Griffith showed up.
at this point he can basically say whatever he wants. griffith had like 4 losses and almost lost to a backup a weight class below. he’s not the type you sit out to scout
@@montijo4196 Yes he can say whatever he wants. But how does it really look? A spade is a spade. Doesn't matter how you cut it, Griffith is a threat just like anyone is.
That's a bit of an exaggeration lol. I mean he absolutely wrecked the number 2 guy already. He wrestled Shane later and he will dominate him imo. I'm upset he ducked him too though

"....throw me in at 74 & they," Shane, "doesn't score a point." WOW!!! Straight beast!
I think he meant they don't score any team points
@@dinocollins720I’ll take the assumption of he meant both. Tank.

If you do not understand why he did not wrestle, you probably have never coached wrestling. It is a game of chess for the coaches in dual meets.

By getting the flu? Again, more clown comments.

It is kinda nice to see the Amine's lose. Maybe not next time.
Amine was destroyed by Mesenbrink.
Both Amines are stalling machines. Backing up constantly. Dad must have taught them that 😝. You can’t be a national champ if you’re not aggressive..
Shane’s too small for 74.
What’s the logic here? Someone bumped up two weight classes to wrestle him to a one point match. no one is buying that.
He was ducking Shane Griffith! Really easy to talk crap from the sidelines.
He is literally the best 174 pounder in the country, why the fuck would he duck him?😂
