I’ve been playing Minecraft for more than 10 years. The scariest thing used to be the way the game ran from 2010-2012, especially when you could see the darkness levels go up when the sun started setting. Back when Herobrine felt real and the sheer emptiness of the game was chilling. I will never forget the first time I heard a cave sound in 2011, I just about ran out of my room. I know I’m yapping, but old Minecraft is truly as scary as it gets.
Yeah I remember a few years back when 1.2.5 was already considered old and I went to play it again and quit midway through the first night because it was just too unsettling. As you said the sheer loneliness of those early versions is true horror
Yeah. Even now Minecraft is creepily liminal, but back in the day it was so much worse. The feeling of playing on a server with friends, then realizing everyone has left and it's just you left, then hearing cave noises or listening to 11 or 13 for the first time, was truly terrifying. To be fair, finding the Deep Dark and running into a Warden for the first time did come close, but old Minecraft is terrifying.
Minecraft was seriously creepy back in the alpha stages. You know that the game isn't like that but you still feel it. And I don't think nothing can overcome the horror of that.
Bro's gonna die first in a horror film if his first instinct after hearing knocking on the door and seeing something not-so-friendly standing outside his house is to open the door
Love how everyone in these challenges build like glass, surface houses. Honestly I would just be digging down and making an underground base. Never would I be brave enough to attempt this with such an exposed house XD

the thing is, minecraft itself may seem a little scary because not every 5 seconds your jumpscared, matter of fact, jumpscares just scare you for like 3 seconds and then you get mad at urself not scared, the monster sounds in the distance are good, but they shoud spawn something, so after a while ur not just ignoring it, and just putting red eyes on a minecraft player and making them tp around is kinda silly tbh, the world itself looks way to welcoming for horror mods, thats why the backrooms feel just terrifying, thats like the only thing where i was actually scared.
The Anomaly is by far the SCARIEST one as that THING stalks you the ENTIRETY of the game, with the others you’re safe but the Anomaly makes the entire world not safe
I got shivers when he got sent into the sleep dimension thing, it's a mod based on a very very illegal game called sad satan and uses some of the textures of it l, the 2nd image that popped up was irl gore and was blurred and censored to a point.
You are working really hard I hope you will get more subscribes soon and more popular 5k subscribes with just 4 videos is wild and videos are really fun and really relaxing to watch and again great work🔥
rule .1 when playing scary mods. prepare some blocks in your hotbar, if you hear scary noises, build up and wait for a while like a minute or two, don't go down until it is completely clear
Why nobody uses First Aid Kit mod? This mod makes survivals not only scary, but also hardcore and makes you worry about limb loss (temporary, but with awful debuffs).
Thats why I hate creepers they get you when you’re most vulnerable when you least expect it and when you have a bunch of loot from a trial maze or form a mining run and have 20 diamonds, they kill you
