- Is Dinkum still good in 2024? Dinkum is a beautiful open world survival craft life sim set in the Australian outback and created by developer James Bendon. It's known as "the Animal Crossing for PC" and I'm FINALLY going to dive into Dinkum and see what this "very positive" rated game is all about! Dinkum has been receiving consistent FREE updates with more on the horizon, and clearly it's a hidden gem I need to explore. So, let's play Dinkum!
Dinkum is available on Steam for PC for about 20 bucks and has online co-op mode so you can play with your friends:

Ive been playing Dinkum since 2022. I loved watching your video and seeing the game again for the first time thru your eyes. I was yelling "dont break the rocks around the dingo den" so loudly i could have sworn you heard me. This game is much fun. Have fun creating your paradise!

Casually picking up, and showing a huge spider to the camera while smiling - this character is an absolute badass.
1020 for a spider? He could've just leave his shoes outside, and collect at least 27 different deadly 8 legged monsters himself.

You should go under settings and make the mini map stationary, so north is always locked in place as north. The spinning mini map is atrocious. Great video! Please make a series, I love your channel.

I voted for Dinkum. I've seen the most beauitful, fun islands. I can't imagine how many hours it took but it looks very rewarding if you can stick with it.
Yes! That's what has inspired me...but with so many games, it's tough to keep going. If no other awesome games release in the next month, I might have a chance to stick with Dinkum this time. 🤣
