My dad bought and sold rare, signed, and limited edition Stephen King books on ebay as a job when I was growing up! I was even taught how to decipher the differences between his real signature and forgeries 😂

Just got into Stephen King collecting myself! My dad was a big fan of his work and gave me his whole collection (59 books in total). Will definitely adding to it in the near future
I read The Shining and then Doctor Sleep back to back and it was such a great experience for me LOL I felt so connected to the characters and the story. Im so glad I found you I love your hauls and anything Stephen King related 🥰

very first novel I read & finished in english was King's IT. Now my favorite writer
I did found a first edition Stephen King book The dead zone for like 8 dollars in a used book store. The problem is that the corners are messed up and there is a sticker on The letter D in the front. It’s fine as long it’s not completely ripped it should be fine unless I used tape.
What I would give to be able to read some of those books for the first time again. You have a lot to look forwards to lol. Honestly, even the stuff people consider bad is still pretty good. I’m jealous that you get to read the tower books for the first time and start to see connections and then want to devour all of his other novels to find them.
I just picked up the Bachman Books paperback last week for $5. Has a red cover with a sunset and a skull on the bottom. Definitely a steal either away!
Hey, I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet, but there is a reason that the price was cut out of the copy of Skeleton Crew. My guess is that the library that owned that book was a part of a book club that had books sent to them. And on early Stephen King books, overstock copies would be used at times to send to members of the book club rather than just printing even more books. To show that that book was now a book club copy, the price would be cut off of the dust jacket, as the price was of no use given it was not being sold to that person based on that price. So, even though it is technically a first edition, since the price was cut off of the dust jacket, it is actually considered a book club edition. The book collecting community can be very weird at times, and this is definitely one of those times, as I don’t think an actual first edition should be priced like a book club edition just because the price was removed, but it is what it is. Great video though, and I hope you only the best in learning more and furthering your collection.
oh my god. i just bought a hardback edition of the bachman books at my local good will for $2. im so glad i picked it up! PS. im binge watching all of your stephen king videos and having sosoosososo much fun. i would be here all night if i didnt have to go to some silly concert
I have so many King first editions, but when I was younger, they were just free book from Grandma and I read them a lot. The west and tear is worth it, but now I have paperbacks to read and hardcovers to display
I found a book club edition of the shining in amazing shape today at the goodwill bins for 50 cents 😱 I couldn’t believe it. Best find ever. The other day I found misery in paper back with the step back of the authors book so pretty 😍
I have a question because I’m new to collecting books by him, but I recently just got a first edition of IT, it says exactly what it says on the copyright page for it to be first edition, but it does note that it’s a fourth printing. Would this still be considered a first edition?

I love all your hauls and vlogs!! I'm almost done with IT. I got a first edition on ebay years ago, really enjoying it! :) And I love all the Stephen King videos, he's timeless! So many younger readers don't appreciate his work just based on what they heard. It's great to see so many others enjoying his work and I do too!!

This is awesome. Ive been collecting stephen king since i was abt 13 and my grandmother died, leaving me her collection of well read paperback king books. From there i scour thrift stores, which worked for a while but it seems like after the new movies it seems like everyone is snatching up all the SK books everywhere. I have a few first editions but really any SK book at all can be in my collection. I dont have the money to get any special editions, but some of my favorite books in my collection are the old hardbacks with awesome cover art. If anyone has and double or anything let me know!!! Thanks
Nice finds! Price clipping usually happens when someone purchases the book as a gift for someone else and cuts out the price. It’s a bummer when that happens on a nicer copies. Happy hunting!

My wife thinks I’m crazy for wanting to put archival covers on all my valuable books, even sentimental ones lol they just look awesome in them! Gonna start hunting some first editions and get my collection going!
A copy of stephen bachman RAGE I'd be impressed.. hardback might I add, yes that would turn my head. Thos book is banned pretty much everywhere and it costs £1500!! Stephen bachman is "Stephen king" btw... but it was his -pseudo- name.. also, Stephen's son - joe king sells his books through the pseudo name of "joe hill".. joe hill did the locke & key series.. it's still on netflix.. he helped his dad finish "into the grass" and the famous NOS4A4 book. Just wow this one is a shell shock you can tell hes got his dads spit for the horror genre.

Check to see it's your books are Book Club editions otherwise they're worthless
