The Image: The opening shot of the excited Wanda descending the cavernous, shadowy stairway with the little ragazzo actor is very good, no? (freeimages3.wo...)
And the later frames of all the troop of actors walking parading down the stairs in full costume (with the circus music) is very Felliniesque, surely - and this his very first film!
