Small profile target. Highly maneuverable compared to others ships. A prime example of federation engineering.
It's weird how it said this new Reliant was built a year after the original was destroyed when you can clearly see a Defiant class in the video and the Defiant class wasn't built until almost a 100 years later by Commander Benjamin Sisko.

If I had one criticism, update the explosion animations during the battles. Perhaps a remastered version 😎
I think you've really nailed the feel of the original series! Congratulations
Haha, +1 for the Galaxy Quest ship. Great video, brought back the classic Trek feel, something that's been seriously lacking as of late! I would have thought the captain of the Reliant would have known better to enter the Neutral Zone without going to yellow alert though!
And just a side note, the Miranda class is one of my favorite classes. Next would be the Oberth!
i couldnt help but catch the NSEA Protector (Galaxy Quest) 3:45/9:35. wow. thats an odd choice to through in randomly. but cool.
I’ve always been partial to this ship.
It’s the best looking ship imo ever designed by trek with the nebula class as a close second.
It’s just a design that makes so much sense.
Compact. Modular.
This was created with Blender? Wow, the possibilities are endless. Amazing work 👏👏👏
A fantastic animation and a really nice little story about the reliant. It is great to see that tough little ship back in action!
i love all the easter eggs in this the N.S.E.A Protecter really
+Daniel McCool You were the first to notice her. I thought she was pretty obvious...lol
I love this his is beautifully done. thank you
+Daniel McCool Thank You! What did you think of Reliant A? I likes how it turned out. I wanted it to look very excelsior, but still hold miranda design.
Shes beautiful, The Miranda Class are on of my favorite class of ships. I wish she was in STO it is my new dream ship.
+Robert McConnell ok watching it for the third time to see if there are easter eggs i missed
I enjoy the USS Reliant tale of a Fateful Ship. I enjoy hearing the TOS music.
You are the Best Worker of the TSY (Thompson Ship Yard). My full size financial workbee is having its remote manipulator arms attached. I'll be needing your help soon with it. I hope all is well with you. I have been battling very bad health as of late but doing my best to keep going. Hope to hear from you soon.
+Alan Thompson I hate to hear about your health. I hope things get better for you. Keep in touch.
very well done my friend!!!! animation and music were SPOT ON!!!!!!!!!!
