"I always felt like I would fight anybody because everybody was the enemy, the enemy, the enemy. And now I'm here, without nothing, away from everyone, and I really took the time to find out who the enemy was. And it's not that it was the enemy, it was the enemy, the enerme.... the enner ME. The inner, the INNER ME."

I'm far from maths, always dreaded it. I've been a n arts student and did my master's in performing arts theatre, but here I' am fully heartily interested in these videos. It's your honesty and simplicity that makes these videos worth watching. Thank you sir! It's been quite a long paragraph! But I love your channel, please never stop posting. Admiration from India. ❤

I'm taking differential equations, discrete mathematics, and Object-oriented programming with data structures. I'm hungry but I'm struggling in the trenches. I'm crawling through the homework and doing problems takes forever and the next thing I know it's already night time and I'm drained. It is discrete math. It is so different and new to me. They are all online too so I don't have lectures and I rely on multiple textbooks, TH-cam, and other resources. I'm not complaining I'm worried that It's taking a while for the math to digest in my brain.

The will to win is not nearly as important as the will to prepare to win. Everyone wants to win but not everyone wants to prepare to win. Preparing to win is where the determination that you will win, is made. Once the game or test or project is underway, it is too late to prepare to win. The actual game, test or project is just the end of a long process of getting ready, in which the outcome was really determined. So if you want to win, you must want to prepare to win. Once you prepare to win, winning is almost anti climatic.

Resist falling into overthinking spiral by simply doing what you got to do. There is internal desire to fall into "not doing" but only way to resist it is by pushing oneself, also physically, into xyz activity.
Whenever you feel doubt, force yourself and you will make it. It is hard, I found it to be the only working way.
In other words: hold your ground.
    Thank you for this video!

My biggest challenge is the 'tsunami' of interesting subjects. It's not easy to stay on 1 subject as it is too tempting. It doesn't help the ease of accessing the information and materials needed... hugh. Sometimes I have a feeling I could fill (at least) several lifetimes with it. It's just too much. So only solution is to make a choice and cut the rest out, as it is just impossible to know "it all"...

Just... Really, there's nothing to add. OVERTHINKING. Oh my god I wasted sooooo much of my time just by overthinking...
Sometimes the important stuff is said in the simplest way, like "JUST DO IT".
But we've seen it too many times and it has lost all of its value... and we keep looking for a new, magical way that only 5 people on earth know it, to be successful...
But all of it is said in that single line: just, DO IT.

I want more all my life. I’ve always wanted to do more to be more to become more the first chance I get I screw up in this test and the second one is coming and I’m hoping to achieve and do better, I believe in impossible in the unknown unseen, what’s your advice?😢

Got my new book today. TCWAG by Leithold. 6th edition. This book was more on the expensive side so I had to open it immidiately when I got it.
Never experienced something like that in my life. I unpacked the book, opened it, and it just "clicked".
I don't want to say that I know every topic. No, of course not. I barely know any topic, since I only have my A-levels in math. I don't think I even remember all the derivation or integration rules I used to know.
But it doesn't matter which page I open, I feel like understanding it all just by reading the examples. It's so well written, perfectly explained. Examples are calculated from beginning to end. Everything is completely logical from A to Z. Fantastic book. Can't wait to finish the books I'm currently reading, just to start this one. It feels like a special book. I only knew that feeling if a special person confronts me, but this time, it's by opening this book. Any page will do. I imagine like when I start reading this book it will be like the start of an amazing journey.
Even the first sentence: "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler" by Albert Einstein
is a really elegant way to introduce a mathbook.
Have you ever felt this way before? Is it weird? What's your opinion about this book?
I really have to finish the books I'm reading recently. I just can't wait to start reading TCWAG 6th edition.

You don't need one true passion. Some people have equal amounts of desire in more then one thing: think about many great genius from the past, that studied multiple things and did something brilliant in one or both. Sometimes we need to focus more in one subject for a certain amount of time, but not necessary to do it forever.
After removing this anxiety, see whatever is better to start first, organize yourself and go.
I have both arts and science in my life. I need both.

On this channel, the sorcerer has also talked about becoming unbalanced, if even for a little while, to achieve results. Typically this needs to be followed by a longer rest period to recover.
