Wow, never seen a section of frame rail completely missing. I'm sure you know, drop the k frame, 4 large bolts, 2 on the ball joints and unhook steering and it drops right out
Me neither. I've seen them rusted but not totally gone. I've heard about removing k member but never done it. Didn't have an impact that was capable until lately.
Sadly due to storage issues I didn't keep the entire side. I probably should have but Ive already got my building packed, garage packed and basement packed lol
I think about that every time I part one or see one in a yard. We was at a local you pull and there was a 90 Accord. Only thing interesting was it was a 5 speed car and actually clean. I took the owners manual home. I got looking at it, and it was sold new in Hawaii! And here it ends up in a you pull it in Ohio. It was too nice to be there.
For now I have to keep them a roller until they are onto the trailer then it's free game to remove whatever. Hopefully in the future I will have a place I can just back my trailer into and lower it right on.

Hard to believe that was once a brand new car someone drove off the lot.

@@forgottendailiesllc Yeah, true. Almost like us. We're new once, age then instead of the scrap yard it's the grave yard lol.
@@pmafterdark sad how that works
What a shame but it is what it is. At least it got into your hands because the parts you saved would have been forgotten and lost forever.
It is definitely a shame. But as you said, at least so many parts have been saved for others. Thank you.
I forgot you had to roll it out so pulling k frame not a good idea
