I've been both thinking this show NEEDS to end this way, and saying it probably would since the Endverse episode in Season 5 where Alternate!Lucifer said it was inevitable. And apparently the writers either A. thought so to, or B. heard fans talk about this possibility for years, so they gave us the most in your face obvious foreshadowing as some last minute fan service before the end, even if it doesn't end this way. What's really crazy is that I just noticed that the Endverse episode is Episode 4 of Season 5, just like last weeks was Episode 4 of Season 15. And in both episodes Jared snaps Jensens neck. An exactly one decade later parallel.

this video has made me realize so many things about how the show could end, no matter if it's good or bad. i do think that we all know that the brothers will both die in order for the show to end, whether it's happy or sad. but even if they are fictional characters, the fact that they have died and might die in order for the show to end is maybe one of the saddest things. but no matter what happens to the boys, they'll all live in our hearts.
the fact that we have been told for `5 years that it will only end when one brother kills the other, and we never believed it because go team free will, only to find out that there is no free will, and the story will only end if one brother kills the other. It's so messed up and poetic.

Sadly, Lilith's return was spoiled for me before I watched the episode but it was shocking nonetheless and the actress playing her was much better than the previous one. honestly I'm so conflicted about all this death and these ending rumors. on one hand there's so much dying in this show that it has become kind of,, regular skksks. so if one of them ends up dying I'd not really be that heartbroken tbh because it doesn't feel like a big deal anymore, if that makes sense. I'd find it much worse if the characters parted ways with a bad relationship or even loathing towards each other, like torn apart :/

And the way Sam woke up from first vision and Dean talk to him in Impala and was the same way they did the scene in the beggining of "Wendigo". Seeing Chuck's sick obsession about brothers ending I'm really nervous about how brother's story will end.

Wow this really moved me the voiceovers from past seasons just wow! I'm hoping they don't kill each other because that would just hurt I think deans gonna do something so they doesn't have to kill each other or Sam will who knows!
I really hope the series doesn't end with Sam and Dean dead and never finding happiness. They have suffered too much and sacrificed too much to go through anymore. They deserve so much more than what they have been given.
