2:12 Its looks like ambulthiyal(sri Lankan sour fish) together with coconut sambal and dhal it's a great combination one must try. But probably not in a hospital. As a Sri lankan living in Europe i would say the healthcare in Sri Lanka is very good despite it's lack of resources. Happy to see more travellers in Sri Lanka.

As far as I know, you have full access to the Sri Lankan Healthcare system 24/7 for free, I am a Sri Lankan living in New Zealand, and here we don't have it and need to wait for hours and get ignored by the staff at the end. and the cost $$$.

Be safe and enjoy your stay in our country. There are possibilities that a foreigner might fall ill if they are exposed too much to the dust and unclean ,especially street foods and fruits . You have to be careful when eating fresh fruits. Make sure you clean them with fresh, clean water for at least five minutes. Use mosquitoe replant or net when you sleep. Even as a foreigner you have full free access to the great health care of Sri Lanka. No wait times like the crumbling UK immediate treatment in Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan people are the warment and super safe for travellers. Like UK its ruined by the politicias. Need garage in.
i was very fortunate to have travel and health insurance, so i was treated in a private hospital. the treatment i received was the best i've ever had, though i have never been to a private hospital anywhere else!
