Personally I am really happy with the colortube. It really saved me a lot of time getting the right mixture. Only thing I dislike is the poor quality (cheap plastic). I wish that the comoany would make a professional set with two or four plugs in a more durable construction. Apart from that it is a great tool
just manged to get hold of one to get my traveller sorted,as the pugs are black,the kit is a bit thin on the ground to source ,so hopefully il be able to get my carb sorted and nice clean plugs again.
Yes. I called it the idle mix screw. Which is what it is. It does ration the fuel flow, only through the idle circuit. It does not affect the fuel flow above idle.
i think that idle screw you're referring to is a fuel ration mixture screw. Turn it in = less fuel, turn it out = more fuel. Getting blue at idle is easy but at higher rpms, isnt very precise.
Please help me, i have two motorcycle. The first has 10mm spark plug and the other has 12mm spark plug. What colortune can i use and what adaptor. Thanks a lot. Greetings from Greece.
This is a fantic tool for tuning carburetor. I just wanted to know that is this tool for any type of motorcycle or just for some particular model? I am from Bangladesh and here we have only 160cc limit. So can we use this tool to tune like 100cc 125cc or 150cc motorcycle? Thank You

yes,any motorcycle or small engine. ideal for single cylinder.
