2010 Ford Taurus Fuel pump replacement.
Don't replace the whole unit. Just install the pump and new filter. It's not too tricky, just go slow with the plastic tabs so you don't break any.

All you need is a flat screw driver and hammer to turn cover counter clockwise for fuel line You would need fuel Line release clamps.buy multi pack unless you know what size the clamp is

How do you get the initial cover off?

The outer cover is rubber. You just get a screwdriver in there and slowly pull it up.

Possibly. Fuel pumps are usually either working or dead.

​@@grampzquadyeah that's most cases but I changed a dying fuel pump which was causing hesitation and the car will not go past 30 mph

@@rudyguerra4619 The Taurus is known to have sensitive transmissions. Check the condition of your fluid, if it's dirty you can try a fluid exchange but it could also be a sign of a failing transmission if you change it and it's still acting funny. Of course only if you have narrowed it down to it being a transmission issue.
