I am SO excited for Sandrock and Coral Island even though I have both on Steam already, I was waiting for full launch. I plan to play Sandrock, might wait for Coral Island since the roadmap for 2024 is SO MUCH. Also super excited for Fashion Dreamers since one of my friends is getting a Switch and planning to play it plus the server is also excited for it Manifesting a Fantasy Life release date for December then LOL
Yeah I was surprised when I saw their roadmap! I'll probably play a bit then wait some more while I play everything else! Fantasy Life would be a perfect way to wrap up the year!
Super excited for coral island and sandrock as they're both releasing as 1.0 with content being further added into 2024+ also love that you added fashion dreamer, i'm an avid style savvy lover from 3ds and I have it pre-ordered. We definitely need more serious fashion games as so often they're treated like shovelware in the US; whereas Japan seems to put serious thought into them :) thanks for another great video!
Josh you are my favorite comfort youtuber, and you keep me informed on so many things that matter to me (aka, different farming sims). It's really impressive that you're able to speak and translate so many languages at a time and are able to show us some of the Japanese early releases! I am so excited for My Time at Sandrock because the gameplay loop is just so satisfying and the QOL features vs Portia are amazing.
To everyone in the comment section, if you've enjoyed persona 5 and the Xenoblade Chronicles, please please give 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim a shot. If you like a rich story that'll stick with you forever, this should be your pick! Just a look at reviews on any site will tell you it's a spectacular game. It was released worldwide in 2020 but didn't get much coverage due to budget reasons. I found it only a couple months ago myself and it's my favourite game of the year BY FAR. A lil taste of it: it has 15 protagonists and the game makes sure you grow to care for and love ALL of them. Trust me, just play it. Don't think, just do!
My Time at Sandrock has been a hell of a journey. The last update, after playing the game for over a year now, almost made me cry. The characters are awesome and the finale will be a feeling I remember for years. Hell, I even like Cooper. Listened to every one of his rants.
I'm looking forward for fashion dreamer. The new style boutique games where great fun on the 3DS and finally we get a new game of the series (kind of). I don't know if I will buy My time at sandrock since My time at portia is way to buggy to enjoy. After losing a whole day (I was already in bed while the game broke) I lost all motivation to continue playing. (Sorry for the bad english, I tried my best)

I can't believe cozy games have taken off like they have. When I was a kid really all we had was Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing. I'm overwhelmed by the sheer amount of games we've been getting in these last few years. Glad too but definitely overwhelmed.

Craziest cozy/farming gaming year ever. I can’t keep up! Lol So many amazing ones to try on Switch 😃 I finished Wylde Flowers, and am currently playing Fae Farm/Sprout Valley. And am obsessed with Garden Paws atm lol I have Paleo paws bought and in my backlog to play. I’m a finish everything and spend 100’s of hours type of gamer, so each game I really take my time. I can’t wait for My Time at Portia and Spells and Secrets! And I’m picking up Dave the Diver Friday!

I have the collector's edition of Sandrock pre-ordered, looking forward to that a lot. I'm getting the PS5 one as I avoid Switch releases whenever possible for these types of games. Coral Island is one that's been on my wishlist for a while, and I'm very excited it'll be included on Xbox Game Pass next month.
Seriously the surprise drop for Fashion Dreamer in Nintendo Direct's feed had me pinching myself, it was such a pleasant surprise! I've played all of the DS/3DS Style Savvy titles, so I had to pinch myself in the best possible way upon seeing the surprise drop! Fantasy Life getting a Switch title has me pretty psyched too, my nephew and I played the heck out of the 3DS title!

So I will wait for Coral Island Switch release! I've been trying to play Palia on pc for a while but even it running smoothly, its the chair problem all over again u.u And Yeah I'm with the person who is summoning Fantasy Life for December! ❤
Excited for Sandrock! I ordered the Switch version, so I'm really hoping it runs well - they managed to get the first game running eventually, though it took a few updates. I'm also interested in Coral Island, but I can't get both in the same month, so that will have to wait a while. Does anyone know if it's going physical? I might put it on my Christmas list if so...
Think for me it will be Cuisineer, I had the same bug with the demo. I did not know Coral Island would be fully launching, will give it a other look and I gave up in Palia.

An Epic launcher version of something oh so can be a bad thing. Epic seems to screw over a lot of indie games that become popular that they get their claws in to. I worry for Palia. :
I really wanna like Coral Island but when I tried playing it the "glass looking" menus (which reminds me of mobile games) and the weird cleanliness aesthetic of the houses and places in the island really put me off. It's like some kind of futuristic super clean aesthetic that, for me, doesn't fit the cozy vibe. Seems plastic-like, dunno how to explain. Thanks for the video Josh! Always great content!
So many of the games look great. I don't know what to play! I especially like the looks of Isekai Island, Coral Island, and Lake was it? Those three just look the most relaxing and cozy to me. I hope that My Time At Sandrock will be a better experience for me than My Time At Portia. I probably mentioned it before but the time limits for certain quests along withnot being able to save a certain character in the console version kind of put me off playing it. Ive heard the PC version is better version to play but I'm a console player lol

As someone who finished Sandrocks story in early access, the game is huge. It will easily last 100-150 hours depending on your playtime.
