I just wanted to thank you for making this channel and videos. I had passed my test to get my N, now I have passed my class 5 drivers test and am a full license driver now. You have been such a big help in my driving journey. Thank you so much. I got my son to watch your videos when we're teaching him to drive, and he now has his N passed the first try too. Thanks again Rick you are awesome.
I watched so many of your videos to prepare for my drive test as an older person who has never had a license. I passed on my first test and can now legally drive! I am so eternally grateful for this incredible resource!! Thank you so much!!!
Loving your videos, they are so helpful! I do have an off-topic question though! What do you use to mount your filming gear?? Would love an answer or even a video on your setup, if you wanted to share! :)
Thank you my friend. I have suction stabilizers I use for the GoPro cameras. I also have another for my iPhone. If you're going to use them outside your vehicle, be sure to have a tether. I've had these fall off, so the tether ensures you don't lose your camera. Cheers Rick
@@smartdrivetest Thanks for the quick reply. Especially in terms of suction stabilisers I actually am quite lost, I don't seem to find anything that allows me to adjust the camera angle quite well (filming both myself and the landscape), the one I bought and had for a while isn't quite flexible. Do you want to share the model you use?
It's probably a 3-Point turn my friend. I too have not heard of it, except in cases of extremely narrow roadways, where a 3-Pt turn won't work. See this vid for 3-point turns: th-cam.com/video/724tCW8gqO8/w-d-xo.html Drop us a note if we can help further. Cheers Rick
@@smartdrivetest, I think they just misunderstood because I had never heard of it in my entire life…🤣 Thank you so much for your quick response I really appreciate it! Have a great day😁
Are you looking for a practice test, or an official test that will earn your learner's permit? For the latter - there are a couple of states. Drop us a note if we can help further. Cheers Rick

I fully endorse yr views on Manual vs Automatic. Yes, auromatic is NOT driving, a case of the tail wagging the dog!
Hi Rick! Do you think you could do a video on turning right on red if pedestrians are waiting on the curb?

I was told my son will have to do a four-point turn. Can you explain what that is? I have never heard of anything besides the three-point turn.
