Longtime lurker and can finally post here. Passed my drivers test first time at 28 last week, in large part due to your videos Idk who needs to see this, but you can do this. I never had anyone to teach me how to drive growing up and had a few physical and mental barriers keeping me away from driving for a long time after that. Few years at a good remote job and was stable enough to make the investemrent and start learning. i had to coordinate with busy (but very kind) friends to get experience whenever i could. Paid for a few lessons but it was way too expensive. One day I just decided to schedule my test, went with a friend, and passed. You got this
Tremendous news my friend. We like those lurkers. How's the driving going? Drop back and let us know if you have any questions. Have a look at this video too: th-cam.com/video/21hBJ49sX-s/w-d-xo.html All the very best, Cheers Rick
I passed my class first try. The Tester at the end gave me one small critique, and said that even though I made a small mistake. I had more good safety habits, and maintained the safest driving he had scene in the recent months. Had to drive 2 hours just to test and another 2 to get home. Practice makes the difference. Thank you my man you helped me a lot.
CONGRATULATIONS! Happy to hear we could help out. Thank you for dropping back and letting us know. How's the driving going? All the very best, Cheers Rick
Rick! I’ve been meaning to drop you a line, I watched your videos every day for months as I was preparing to take my drivers test. I live in a city, so didn’t get my license until my late 20s. Just wanted to reach out and express my gratitude! You helped me SO much during that process, passed the first time! Thank you for what you do! ☺️
I'm so glad to hear that my videos helped you pass your driving test! That is awesome news my friend. Congratulations on getting your license! Where did you go for your first drive? All the very best, Cheers Rick
I took my test last Thursday, and flunked the Ohio maneuvering because of nerves, and made a lot of minor mistakes on the road test due to them too. I’m taking it again on the 21st. Praying this helps me beat the nerves!
You got this! You're going to do awesome my friend. Practice with different people in the car and that will help with the nerves. Drop back and let us know how it goes. All the best, Cheers RIck
Mr. Rick! I love your channel and your videos. My only issue when practicing for my driving test is the speed. I am trying to practice having a controlled, steady speed rather than pressing on the gas pedal too hard. Also, when turning, I am always too fast when making my turns or too slow when I make turns? I know this is a lot lol but if I could address this issue for ne, I'd really appreciate it.
No it's not my friend. Your speed control is tied to your observation. If you're speed is all over the place and not controlled, it tells the examiner that you're not observing correctly. See this video: th-cam.com/video/I19WKgoQqxY/w-d-xo.html Drop us a note if you have further questions. Cheers Rick
@@smartdrivetestis not looking out the back window when reversing an auto fail. I ask cause I can’t really see out my back windows when I physically do it and I have a shoulder issue that makes it hurt. I look out all my window an and do a 360 before backing up and use back up camera too. But i physically can’t hold my self in taht position while also touching the gas petal as im also short but I’ve always safely backed up. Been driving over 20 years but I hate tests and need the N cause my oldest kid needs to get their license. So im nervous to try if I can’t reverse holding that position. And I can’t see over head rests and such anyways. But I use all mirrors and check before going.
Yes, I hear you challenges. Have you tried a pillow under your bum? Also, see this video for reversing: th-cam.com/video/otBIqU3FrAY/w-d-xo.html And this one for backup cameras: th-cam.com/video/BEJED-3Swzw/w-d-xo.html Thank you for learning and helping your kids to get their license. There are challenges for sure my friend. All the very best, Cheers Rick

If you go one km over the limit is it a fail?
