In this video I go over some things that I focus on when trying to portray atmoshpere in my watercolor paintings. Watch The Full Project Playlist: • 100 Days of Plein Air
Yo Antonio, I clicked on this video because of the thumbnail. I was expecting to see the process of painting atmosphere of this specific painting. It’s essentially clickbait; this image has nothing to do with the video. I would not have said anything but I just came from another one of your videos with a similar thumbnail which had the same problem; it was not in the video at all, not a clip OR reference. I gave you the benefit of the doubt and looked at other videos and most of them had thumbnails that did not correlate with the video. It’s a trend I think you should avoid. If you’re worried about revealing the painting in the thumbnail obscure it somehow, blur it, obscure it with part of your hand or bold text.
Hey thanks for your input. You are right, most of the video thumbnails use past paintings I have made. Some of them Do help me illustrate what I wanted to convey in the thumbnail, some are just for it to look nice. But yeah I am not proud of it. Its all for the clicks, I trust that what I talk about in the video is valueable enough to see past that. HOWEVER, I dont plan to keep doing this after im done with this series of painting everyday. Most times I come up with what I want to talk bout in the video after I have painted, so the finished painting doesnt always lend it self to th topic. Thank you for noticing and saying something, I do value the opinion of my audience.
Nice. Everything I paint has mistakes. I just have to hope no one else knows what they are. 😁
Hahaha I understand that 😂
