- There are very many courses in youtube and the internet, but in this video I go over 4 courses that can help anyone learn how to draw and also helping you to know which to choose. Also I go over how you can find your perfect course.

Thank you for spending your money to check these out for us ;) How much value have you personally found so far though? What is something new you have learned that you think you couldn't have learned without these courses? I've seen some of your past work and you don't seem to need a course on drawing basics/fundamentals.
E.g. I've got Liron Yanconsky's Draw Anything U see course including the How to Shade course which cost me less than $60 in total. It teaches the basics/fundamentals and even has some exercises. The lessons were helpful, particularly on shading, but I found far better on TH-cam for free.
My personal experience with these courses is that you are not paying for the lessons so much (everything they teach can be found for free), you're paying for the quality of the teaching (which is subjective), and the convenience of having the lessons collated and presented in a structured manner. Or to put it another way, you are spending money to save time. Something to keep in mind if you just want to learn how to draw.
That’s exactly right Marc. You aren’t paying for something unique and out of the ordinary (sometimes teaching style/ proficiency is what you are paying for). Most creators make their own courses because it’s what their community asks for because they like the person and want to support them.
It’s too early for me to say. But a good example was learning how to measure and draw in proportion. I have watched Prokos free video on YT several times but it wasn’t until I saw the NMA video on it that I realized how to do it. Does that mean that Prokos video was bad? No. Absolutely not.
Sometimes we have to hear the same thing several times in different ways until it finally clicks.

Though I wouldn't blame you if you put Draw a box on a shelf. That course is T E D I O U S 😴😂
Ahhh, this just confirmed why I want to start Draw a Box's course. As soon as I saw your previous video on DaB, I knew that approach was exactly what I wanted and needed to improve my drawing skills. Thank you so much for explaining the different options, the pros and cons, and the reminder that no matter what, it will take effort on our part. I already purchased a set of fineliners and have a ream of old copy paper I can use. I'm going to start lesson 0 today on lunch break! So excited. Thank you again for the inspiration! 😊

I like Skillshare $165 a year a can choose anything from drawing color pencil watercolors etc etc(. Not only art) also business related things.
Thats also great. I personally never have tried skill share :)
I have found really excellent teachers on Skillshare. It’s my favorite right now. I think it’s better than Craftsy, because you have to submit projects and the instructors give you feedback. I also like it better than a couple of classes I’ve taken at the local community college.

What about Betty Edward’s “ drawing on the right side of the brain “ it to can take a long time , I think it’s better to do the book in class . I found i still needed an instructor, with it . But legit my drawing improved .
I have never heard of Betty but I’m sure there’s better course than the ones I listed. These are just ones that I have experience with.
Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain book and workbook are excellent for learning how to draw from observation. For a lot of people this is an excellent way to start drawing if you’re using reference photos or live settings. But when it comes to drawing from imagination this method often isn’t enough, and that’s where the more structural/design based skills come in. I think that’s why he says he feels like he knows how to “copy” but not how to “draw.” He’s trying to make the leap from “copying what I see” to “drawing what I can’t see.”
