    Do you any thoughts about Videosync vs. EboSuite please? Thanks!

    What did you say about looking in the finder to preview? What is the window we're looking at? You blew right past that really important piece.

      Mark Baughman thanks for asking! What I meant is that if you want to preview videos (to see what they look like before you drag them into your project) you’ll have to select the desired video in the macOS Finder and press the Spacebar to preview it, similarly to how you would with any other media type file in Finder.

    Thanks for your tutorial, there's 2 versions to buy, With the basic version can the video be separated with another computer as you mentioned?

    • @SoundSuite
      @SoundSuite  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Networked playback is only supported with the full license.

    Hey, thanks a lot for the explanations, it seems it's the perfect tool I was looking for. Though, I have one question:
    Do you confirm that it is compulsory to have a second MAC (or only monitor ?), only dedicated to video, during live performance ? I understood yes, for CPU reasons, but also for the videoprojector to be connected to this one. PC will not work, correct ?
    Thanks a lot

      Hey there! Videosync is currently available for macOS only, but it can connect to a Windows PC that runs Live, over a network. Similarly, you can run Live on a mac on-stage, and connect over network to another mac off-stage, which runs Videosync, and is connected to the projector. Neither of these options are compulsory, they are there for convenience and stability/reliability. The cheapest option is to use a second monitor (projector) with one mac.

    I can't find my webcam shown on External In - Device. Do I need any other control or app to enable it to appear?

    • @SoundSuite
      @SoundSuite  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your FaceTime cam should work without any other software installed. Are you using another webcam?

    If the video already has audio on it will it play the audio along with the video?

    Looks stunning! Was just wondering how intensive this is on a cpu and gpu?

    • @SoundSuite
      @SoundSuite  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That depends entirely on the system you're running your set on, and on the set's complexity. Having a dedicated GPU will make a big difference though.
      You can try out Videosync for free; the trial has no time limit or feature restrictions.

    Hey please can you tell me about using two computers to play video , will it play the video only on the target machine and not use resources on the audio machine?

    • @SoundSuite
      @SoundSuite  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It will play video on any machine that runs Videosync. However, one license can only be activated on two machines simultaneously (so the others will remain in Trial mode). For more info, I recommend you get in touch with Showsync support.

      A visible watermark. Other than that, there are no limitations.

    Hello there, how do you use multiple videos in one session? (Say, if I'm doing a whole set and want each song to have its own video etc)

    • @SoundSuite
      @SoundSuite  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Luke Cyrus It really works the same as audio: Simply put the videos in the clip slots and scenes you like, so that for example when you switch scenes, the music and videos will change with it. I’ll demonstrate this in future videos.

    Would time code be able to work? I have a tour visual id like to sync up with my tracks

    • @SoundSuite
      @SoundSuite  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Ethan, I'm not sure what you're aming to do with time code. Could you maybe clarify that part a bit? If it's just synced playback you want; Videosync automatically syncs/warps video files to stay in sync with the audio, just like with audio clips.

    can i use videosync also for windows 10 ?

    • @SoundSuite
      @SoundSuite  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's macOS only, but if you send an email to Showsync support (I don't think I can list the email address here), we'll put you on the list to notify you when we do have a Windows version.
