Awesome shoe-review! I'm Leo and we met yesterday at the mozart 100 in tiefenbrunnau. I wore the saucony endorphin edge, very similar to this shoe with pb foam, which is fantastic. However, i can cofirm what studies say about carbon shoes: They make you faster or more economic at an easy pace (only if the terrain is easy!), but put more load on your plantar fascia and achillis-tendon. I feel it today and would now prefer something like the shoe in this video. That beeing said, yesterday was a crazy mud-bath and i should have used something like an innovate x-talon. When the mud is ankle-deep, who cares about a midsole? Looking forward to your race-video, keep up the good work!
Hi Leo! Well i'm glad i chose the Xodus Ultra 3 as at no point my feet itself gave me a hard time, also the stability and grip was amazing, i was doubting to take either the Nike Zegama or Saucony Xodus but it seems i had made the right choice. I did has a spare pair with my girlfriend in case i needed it and that was the Hoka Speedgoat 5, which is also a very good shoe for more technical terrain 👌
@@gofora_run I will consider the speedgoat, as they felt fantastic in the shop. So soft yet not sluggish. Right now, i stick to the hoka torrent 3. If you add a PB-foam!!! insole from saucony, it totally transforms the shoe! I will also resole the torrent with the vibram zegama after i see some wear. here's a vid that shows a resoling process: th-cam.com/video/p4kNu740Yd0/w-d-xo.html
Have the exodus ultra 2 and absolutely love it! The most comfortable shoe I’ve worn for trail running!

The first version was great, so good I didn’t bother with the 2. If they have managed improved them at all that would be very impressive 👍🏻
So which one are you racing in?
