I circumnavigated with a X-482, the pre-predescessor. If one looks for a yacht that is a joy to sail and very safe, this is the best choice. X-Yachts are extremely suitable for blue water cruising.
@@XYachtsGreatBritain That's great, but maybe design a boat with only electric in mind. Without a huge diesel engine and tank new layouts should be possible. Battery should be at least 100kWh to keep up with automotive standards.. Looking forward to such future
@@johnny_123b It's very interesting to do it after purchase. Buy a second Tesla pack of 75KwH and or 6 BMW I8 packs. The prices the wharfs are charging are insane, conversion for a 4.9 currently around 250K Euro. Elan is offering is at a lower price but still around 150k Euro.

You can specify any X-Yacht with electrical propulsion from new - it's your choice if you are happy with the benefit vs trade-offs of such a system...
