Congratulations on your results!! I'm currently in yr 13 and am really struggling to keep up with A-level maths. Do you have any tips on getting the A/A* since I always get a B/C. I've tried doing past papers but still am struggling.
hi, i think start of with really making sure you can do all the hard questions in the textbook, then move onto watching a few videos on youtube if that works for you to help understand the reasoning why you have to do what you have to do. then i would approach the exam questions again if i feel comfortable, and any question that i dont understand i would dissect the mark scheme and i still dont understand where they are coming from i would go in youtube where people go through the papers or ask my teacher. the best thing to do, is to be familiar will all the type of questions that can appear for a particular topic and make yourself a flashcard where you write bullet points of how you will need to approach the question, what will you need to calculate potentially in what order, where to use the numbers x
hi, thank you very much, I unfortunately got rid of my very last document just bc it took up way too much space in my computer, and for every mock and unit test i would create a new one based on what the biggest issues are, sorry x
help ever since yr13 ive gotten a B and C in 2 tests (not mocks but like those topic tests yk) defo not the grades i should be getting since i have A* predicted grades 😭 idk why im suddenly so dumb omgs atp i hope i at least pass my actual a levels bc it feels like im going down a very slippery slope and its just not looking good rn LMAO SORRY FOR THE RANT
honestly just keep going, remember that you have proven to yourself that you can get high grades before so you are more than capable for achieving them x
