As much as you have every right to have opinions about people or even analyse them from a distance, David Hundeyin, assumptions can be dangerous. The things you said about Yele Sowore couldn't be further from the truth. Anyone who has been able to spend any length of time with Sowore up close will immediately acknowledge that he's the opposite of an egocentric. He's not even the revolutionist wannabe you've painted him to be. Perhaps the reason he dives right into every opportunity to defend human rights or to clamour for political accountability is because he's the kind of individual who feels restless anytime he feels there are contributions he could make to society within his capacity that he's not making. That might obviously make him visible but I don't believe that is just attention-seeking, maybe an obsession to stay true to his calling. If anything, Sowore is always learning and always listening to ideas from everyone around him and aggregates the best of those ideas to recommend solutions. That is not the characteristic of an ego-driven person.
And what you said about Sowore having a reality distortion field or something like that, are you saying anyone cannot evolve in their opinions regarding someone or a situation over time? Sowore has never for once denied the fact that his platform, Sahara Reporters was instrumental in removing Goodluck Jonathan from office, given the unbelievably blatant corruption during that era, but that doesn't imply that he has a personal parlay with Buhari or the APC cohorts. Show me anywhere or point me in the direction of any article where Sowore has ever fraternised with Buhari or any politician for that matter. As far as Nigeria is concerned, Sowore has always been anti political establishment, and vehemently so.
Finally, your conclusion about Sowore's believe that Peter Obi stole his political relevance or even stole votes from him is both ridiculous and preposterous. You definitely don't have a clue who Sowore is at all. Let me tell you for a fact that if Sowore has scored zero votes in all the elections in which he has participated, he will still be doing the same thing he's doing and with the same zeal. He's just that unfazed by transient events. He could spend the rest of his life comfortably in the US without ever having anything to do with Nigeria again but the passion for emancipation is what drives him and he believes that if people's political consciousness are raised continually, enough people will eventually agree with his ideologies. Some of what he said years ago that made him look like a lunatic are already at play in the country at the moment. A good example is the minimum wage. Sowore does not have any personal issue with Obi. His reservations around him might revolve around the fact that Obi is still part of the political establishment that has led Nigeria to this point. The sect he finds so detesting and clueless. For example, Obi was the running mate of Atiku just recently in 2019! So what suddenly changed about him to elevate him to his present Messiah status???
Like I said, assumptions can be very dangerous.

... Even evil people have a good side. The Devil himself has his resilience going for him. This is something I admire. He is up against the Almighty, but he's been at it for thousands of years without success, yet he's not gonna give up.
Reno is a sly MF that gives great advice he has never implemented... Dude has no known business and switches sides like a fox on heat.
VDM is still developing. He's barely 30 and He's still has some experiences to have. A guy with a good heart but prone to error and easily distracted by many irrelevancies so David should cut him some slack.
Sowore is just what David says. My biggest worry for him is that He is just what Robert Mugabe was and I know he wouldn't deviate so far from what Mugabe became if he gets the chance.
...and David you should check your pride. Everyone has a role to play in rebuilding this nation. What do you mean by who the F is VDM? He's a Nigerian trying to make this country a better place, just like you! You should respect that.

This interviewer talks a lot. He won't even allow his guest to talk. His questions are longer than the answers.
Hundeyin is a brilliant young journalist no doubt about it but, he should not think of himself occupying the position Sowore was bc nobody knew him and what he was doing before he identified with PO which brought him to the lime light. He is over rating himself to think that way. He is still a baby journalist looking at the records and achievements of Sowore globally.
As a sound journalist who said on this show to be truthful always said something that he won't be able to prove especially that Sowore supported Buhari in 2015. When Reno made this allegation first, Sowore placed a price tag of 200k for anyone that will bring a video of him or any evidence that he supported Buhari in 2015 and that was the end of the whole lies. If you have, you can show us.
You will think Sowore has ego problems but you are not getting it right bc ur candidate PO today will not accept to be VP to anyone that he is better than and I love that. Same thing with Sowore, Let me tell you the truth, the only advantage PO has over Sowore is that he was once a Governor that was different from the others but when it comes to who will fix this country better, Sowore knows the problems and the solutions better than PO and you know that yourself. Is it intelligence, integrity, capacity, courage, character , consistency and competence? Sowore is ahead of PO and if you doubt it, I challenge you to organize a debate for the two to clear ur doubts. The reason that Sowore gave for not aligning with PO was his inconsistencies. I respected that decision. He worked under GEJ govt that was tagged the most corrupt govt then. He was running mate in 2019 to one of the most corrupt looters in the country in the person of Atiku Abubakar and you expect Sowore to throw his over 32yrs of consistency behind such an unstabled person? No na! If he does, people will then say there's no difference between him and them. If PO is serious, he should call Sowore to a round table discussion and maybe promise him to be EFFCC chairman in his govt since he loves fighting corruption and he has all the criminal records of the past leaders, may be they can work together bc I'm not happy that the both are not working together at all. This disunity is not helping matters at all.
