Those Izala/jibwiss constitutes more than 50% of Nigerian Muslims. Here is someone telling you they are the extremist, and mentioning all there leaders as sponsors, when on records(videos, audios) these same people have called out bokoharam before any violence.
It’s interesting how this guys is misinformation people in Nigeria.
By the way there are Christian till now in Borno and some of them are my best friends.

Mr. David Hundeyin is is being influenced unrealistically by his claim to be an atheist. While his tracing of violent Islam may be marginally accurate, he grossly misses the mark why some sects of Islam (e.g. Yoruba version) are relatively "non-violent."

  • @Shrapnel001

He said the truth although he left some things out, and I wonder why.
Yes it is very true that the importation of Wahabbism was the beginning of the end for peaceful coexistence in Northern Nigeria. The Sufis and other ancient traditional Islamic Sects were known as jolly good fellows that embrace tolerance as a core foundation of Islam. This can be seen in the early composition of Kaduna, Plateau, Adamawa etc (prior to the emergence of the extremist). However When the extremist wahhabist took over, their first casualty was those other moderate Islamic sects, after strangulating them, they moved on to the Christians.
What my brother Hundeyin failed to highlight is the role of the same US in promoting, shielding and using the same Saudi brand of Wahhabist as weapons against its then Soviet foes in Afghanistan and other Middle East battle lines (Hillary Clinton confessed this herself). It is not a secret that using and arming Islamic extremist groups is a well accepted policy drive of the United States government. They also used them (and still are) to reverse the influence of Iran, knowing well that Wahabbis are the biggest enemy to Shiism. The US knew what was breeding in Nigeria in the 80s and they clandestinely groomed it by forcing the Nigerian government (which is perpetually run by their puppets) to shield the key Wahabbi protagonist and basically adopt the system as the officially recognized version of Islam by the Nigerian State. This was why they succeeded in implementing the politically-influenced Sharia during Obasanjo, even against the counsel of other peace loving Islamic sects. I'm a Muslim, I'm a Northerner. We saw all this coming but the Government was directly complicit. If you are to pay attention to the happenings in Kano involving Wahabbi run Hisbah you will know that the we are on the path to Yemen, as the worst is yet to come

What has transpired as the wahhabi intrusion into Nigeria and its outcome as boko haram and elsewhere before them in the non-white world is the result of the machiavellian principle which calls for the fabrication of a synthetic enemy unbeknownst to the general populous who in essence is the intended target. Fear of a boogie man is the objective or stated goal, a form of psychological warfare which will then create in the minds of the shook a desperate need of or dependence on some gallant hero to come and save them from the perceived threat - in this case what has become known as terrorism. Once the hero eradicates a threat socially engineered as the war on terrorism which he himself conceived, the people not aware they have been duped into such a position will submit to his personal whims or ambitions to keep himself in the lofty position that he attained thru mindcraft aka the machinations of the imperialist interest of the united snaKKKes of ameriKKKa and its european allies. Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi had recognized the strategy and anticipated the imperialists would use it against his country in order to confiscate its natural resources. Hardly did the international community know that he was checking the so-called terrorist threat by rounding up its spooks and imprisoning them until the bengazi operation headed by killary clinton had freed them. During the same imperialist intent carried out on the syrian people (and still ongoing) an ameriKKKan attache communicated directly to killary clinton that "al-qaeda is on our side" - a fact that no mainstream media journalist will touch nor vouch for. WE perish for the lack of knowledge wisdom and understanding, and a clear agenda that must be rooted in revolutionary praxis beyond all the utopian ideals of freedom from oppression.

😅 U.$.State department documents... The same U$ that creates narratives to promote anything anti-Abrahamic Islam?
If Boko-haram forms a sub-group to promote a negative ideology, We now blame it on the likes of Gumi who preached the return to the original islam?
If one of your sons goes astray from the flock, SHOULD WE NOW BLAME YOU FOR HIS NEW IDEOLOGY? 😮
