Mental anguish is such a scary thing. I've been in some dark places and the thought of taking my own life came to me more than once. Thank you for telling your story without holding back. If you save one single life (and I'm sure you have) then what you are doing is a complete success

I picked up some important points about our responsibility to fellow travelers on the road of life. Your life was miraculously saved, and now you’re saving others! Thank you! BTW, I saw that the life saving net installation on the GGB has been completed. I walked across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge last year. There were signs every few hundred feet to call a certain number if you need help. I’ve seen that sign at railroad crossings as well. I hope that people will call if they need help.

@j3in725 if they have a foothold in your life they can inteject demonic intrusive thoughts. It's called demonic obsession and it's one of the steps to demonic possession. Many people experience the demonic without it progressing to possession. But the end goal of all demonic presence is possession of a person. They will settle for being able to possess a place or object tho
I never understood depression when I was young. When my elderly father started suffering, I was totally bewildered because he was so loved. As I age, and as everything that I ever had was taken from me, I see poverty and loneliness looming, losing my entire family... I get it.
I got to see you in Williamsport, PA last night. Such a powerful presentation. I myself don't live with brain pain, but an uncle of mine who I was super close to did. He took his own life 15 years ago. Thank you for everything you do to spread awareness. You're saving lives and your story is an inspiration. P.S. One of my closest friends name is Herbert. But I understand completely that you couldn’t do that given what’s happened to you and your family and your incredible and immeasurable loss which I feel so saddened by and for. My son took his life. I planned to take mine but got help. I have ptsd from Narcissistic domestic violence and live in pain. All I've been through doesn't compare to.the pain.of grieving my son. One day at a time. God is my comforter.

Hello kevin my name is Anjelica. Im going through lots of mental pain, I'm addicted to Xanax I'm just an emotional mess. I watched a couple of your videos I have your book. I haven't read it yet it was giving to me 6 months ago I've been so depressed i haven't read it but I will. So anyway i am having a hard time i don't feel like i can talk to my love ones, i don't need them to think oh god Angie is going to lose it. I have many of the same mental illnesses as you, i was recently diagnosed with cptsd. I really need help but I'm not really feeling like I wanna go. I know I need to go but I just don't want to. What can I do? I live in Baltimore MD and been in just about every psych ward that they have i just really don't think they help. What can I do because I'm really running out of options and I don't know how much more I can take before I break. Hopefully you get this.

My son, of 28 yrs, is suffering from psychosis (persecutory delusional disorder) along with a lot of anxiety. He is not yet on an anti-psychotic medication and I was hoping to find out what worked for Kevin? I know there are many different meds, and some work better for some than others, but just curious what finally worked for Kevin? This would be really helpful. The worst thing you can do is meds. It will never help you permanently it will only prolong your progression. Meditation and time. Learning to control the human mind by actually dealing with the human experience naturally
Medication is important to manage psychosis. Different medications work differently for different people, so it’s finding the right medication. Both a psychiatrist and psychologist would need to be seen. He needs to seek therapy from a therapist who he feels he can have a good connection with so he can work on cognitive reframing to rewire his brain! I’m sorry you are dealing with this.
I survived several suicide attempts. I think about everyday. I’m thinking about it now. It is what directed me to this channel. I just want the pain to stop
Train your 🧠 🤔 If your brain has enough power to Trick you into psychosis, your brain has enough power to find said problem. It's probably a lack of empathy, understanding, and forgiveness? That created psychosis? It hurts when you need the same understanding, forgiveness, Empathy, you have been unwilling to give! Forgive others and with those forgiveness credits earned, forgive yourself! Is it as simple as the judgment you place on others You eventually place on yourself? 🤔 Today's thoughts. Love love.

@@KevinHinesI live a few miles from the Shenandoah National Park and Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. Many many people go to the park to commit suicide and many just disappear. The exposure deaths aren't counted as suicides because I guess they just assume someone got lost? I appreciate your video and wish the mental health professionals( in my experience..) would stop treating people with huge anxiety as drug seeking or malingering.
OK but can you say that it wasn’t because you were special. It was because there was a sea lion that had had life experience of watching things die in the sea and perhaps it had compassion on its own and it has nothing to do with God but this animal happened to be in the right place at the right time. Give some props to that animal that actually saved you. I would rather see the sea lion give interview to tell you the truth.
