I do something very very similar to you and it's a complete game changer and has also helped me create some of my best music to date...Templates, EQs/Effects/Utlity pre loaded onto tracks. I also do "admin days" where I scrub through sounds/samples and collect into folders for later use. Workflow hacks are SO KEY. would love to see your routing set up btw
Recently installed LES after someone mentioned in the discord, and its great. ive yet to configure it, but i really like that i can see how long ive worked on a project. (only counts after you save it for the first time though, which makes sense). Great video as per usual man
Just found a great gumroad shop called "patches.zone" that has a wonderful timer that you can display in your Ableton window too. I like it a bit more aesthetically (and it's free!)
I've never used ableton but I think there are alot of professionals out there, those not even making music, that can and should heed the general advice of this vid Will. Good templates and shortcuts that allow you to do repeat tasks fast SAVE TIME! It's a universal truth and a reminder that I need to set aside some 'admin days' too! Great vid.

Definitely would love to see that template layout in more detail. I'm pretty new to Ableton and invested only in intro to have a longer trial time. I've gotta get Suite because I love Ableton's stock plugins and how they work with Push 2. Thanks for the info!
FX racks are great. Personally, I use a Streamdeck to insert Devices and Instruments. I have all the FX only one press of a button away now:) bit special to map it, but so worth it
