    Thank you so much sir for your videos. Really useful for me. I learn all Leica manual Total station from your videos and my Institute. Now i ready to use TS-03, 06,07,09. Still i not learn TS-10 and robotic.

      Thanks, yeah more and more robotics now in construction TBH, but once you know manual station well it shouldn't take you much time to pick up the robotics

    Sir, if i learn only all Leica total station is enough? In uk Leica is using mostly in building settingout works? Or else like (Sokkia, Trimble, topcon) Plz tell me Leica is enough or not?

    • @SITENG
      @SITENG  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Leica should be enough, but sometimes they use other as well, but once you understand how Leica works you shouldn't really have a lot of problems with other kit

      @@SITENG ok sir. Now iam expert in Leica and beginner in Sokkia sir. My Institute send me some sites weekly twice. There I can mark columns individually with TS. I saw different types of works like topography work, contour work, F.F.L marking work. Seperating property into 2 by using reference line. Then topography using Dgps

    Hi bro.. I just want to know.. What is meannig of meesage"set accuracy limit" for possiton ; hight; angle when i want to set station..sorry my english languge is not good enought to decribe my simple problem.. I hope u understand me..thanks.

    • @SITENG
      @SITENG  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You just have to put how much accuracy you need etc. 5mm 5mm 15' and then when you do resection EDM will tell you if you're out of this acurracy limits, it's nothing important as EDM will tell you the error of set up anyways.

    Sir plz make video on how to establish control on new site

    • @SITENG
      @SITENG  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Collins! Base control have to be provided by the client and than you do secondary control setting the new targets and surveying them (can see on my last day in life video :)

  • @TheMrasimqureshi
    @TheMrasimqureshi 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Excellent Greg. Just one major point in the video. Please SHOW THE SCREEN CLEARLY of the Total Station as we cannot see it while you are giving the instruction about the next stage. Secondly it was not clear as to how you set the limits of the resection limits. Does it matter if you don't set the limits of the resection value? I like the way you press the Side Measure Button to measure while looking through the telescope to save time and to stop making an error. Brilliant device.

    • @SITENG
      @SITENG  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Asim! Good point :) It does not matter really as you have to decide if you're happy with the resection. It will just show you that you are out of your limits showing X in the box. I love side buttons too :)

    Hi Greg, which is the most used total station out of these brands in UK-Leica, Trimble, and Topcon? Is it possible to work on Trimble if we study only leica? thanks. By the way, I checked out your website! looking good.

    • @SITENG
      @SITENG  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi George! I've never worked with Trimble, but once you know how EDM works it will be very quick to learn. I jumped from Leica to Topcon once and it was quick change (annoying at first though :). Website will be better, but I can't find time for it. If you can follow my site on LinkedIn please. I believe Leica is the most used in UK and definitely in London area and there is more and more companies using robotic ones now.
