I like how Kazuma calls Aqua useless yet she is the only person that could return him from death or break such strong curses.
Aqua is insanely powerful and has useful skills. But she's an alcoholic and a moron, which usually ruins things. (And by "ruins" I mean "makes much funnier".)
I mean she can do that, but she will also gamble away your savings and personal items as well as spend all of your budget on alchohol so I guess it evens out.
thats the misconception that the series is using as a joke but in the last 2 volumes it becomes serious that they found out how important she is on the team
To be fair, Kazuma was getting along really well with Eris. Aqua reviving him wasn't exactly helpful, lol
@@anakomaru being close with eris won't get kazuma revived...eris can't break the rule of 1 resurrection per person...only aqua that has a higher authority can do that...that is the main point of the series...they treat her as useless until she got fed up and runaway...then thats the time they only take her seriously when they realise they are all doomed without her since all of them already died multiple times already

Konosuba is the only anime that will go from genuine sadness to a comedic scene in a heart beat and my neck is way beyond repair at this point.

Actually, Aqua is easily the most "useful" member of the party. Most of their major victories would not have been possible without her - like the victory over the Dullahan, the Destroyer, the Slime monster at the hot springs, etc. She is essential in most of their adventures, besides her basic function of resurrecting Kazuma when he keeps getting himself killed. She gets a really undeserved rap as "useless."

The funny thing about aqua, is if you take the average of all of her abilities she's about as useful as the normal person. But that's just a mean. The mode of her abilities is useless. Her few actual skills are like half a dozen standard deviations above the mean, so anything she's not good at she has to be abysmal at.
That's why Kazuma can't see her as a woman, because there's too high a chance that her "ride" ability is on the low end.
Unless its one of the few things about her on the godess-tier end...

So the Lord I forget what his name is the one that got his home destroyed by the Gang when they destroyed the mobile Destroyer and who's Darkness family what all that money cursed her father using a demon, and aqua just come on over and brakes the curse.
It's a shame we don't get to see what happens to him in more detail.

Man I hate that show. I wish I could like it but after the first seasons of them repeatedly having serious moment and then instantly crapping in them with surprise failure or humor I couldn’t enjoy it anymore. Humor is fine after seriousness but it needs space in between the moments or at the very least be mixed with the moment.
