It's true! It didn't make the cut in the film, but she shared with us that "Kurt" (whose real name was actually Werner von Trapp) was her grandfather. :)
@@FarmersFriend In my youth, college & few years post college living in true upstate NY, skied Stowe many times and stayed in the Trapp lodge a few times. Great place. Great story. Great film. Great family.
