I heard years ago that if you use that shrimp and crab boil comes in the powder or a liquid, and boil the fish in that it tastes like shrimp or crab. I tried it I think and it was okay. It wasn't shrimp and it wasn't crab it was just boiled bluegill tasted kind of like shrimp or crab.

Use some shrimp and crab boil seasoning or old Bay next time.
