Do you mean PTSD? PTSD is a brutal thing to handle and the last thing to do is take drugs. Drugs keep you from being your own "boss" and doing what you need to do. Thank you for the continuing education. I’m quite sure psychiatrists are nowhere near as informative. They should have to follow the same guidelines as commercials. But that would likely hurt their “bottom-line.” (Big Pharma is the influence, in my opinion).
Tardive dyskinesia can be caused by valproic acid (sodium valproate/ valproate semisodium/ Depakote etc.) The incidence rate is 1 to 5%. I think a lot of people don't realise this can be caused by valproic acid.
Do you have a scholarship or donor program. I would like to come off my anti-psychotic. I am on the lowest dose now. .25mgs of Risperdal. And I am thankful I have been able to come all the way down to that, but I have heard it gets harder to come off the lower the doses you take.

Will those vitamins you mentioned to treat tardive dyskinesia help get rid of TD or is it just to control the symptoms? Is TD permanent?
