For those that have already watched the whole video and want to jump back to the nervous system reset practices: 34:18 1-minute reset, going dark 40:17 4-minute 4-step reset
Thank you for all of your videos ♥. I love how your content connects physiotherapy and the mind. Your passion for these topics, knowledge, and kind personality make your TH-cam channel very special and helpful.
This video is a godsend for me. My stress and anxiety used to only manifest in my pelvic floor. Now it’s also in my jaw, necessitating adding a TMJ therapist to my long list of doctors. You touched on so many of my experiences. I’m deeply grateful for you and your mission.
Thank you for sharing! That connection between pelvic floor tension and jaw clenching is so real. I'm glad this resonated with your experience and validates what you've been going through with both TMJ and pelvic floor issues. Keep listening to your body! 💜
You saved my life Doc. Im so grateful for you. I really thought I was going to die around this time last year. Your videos are the best gems on YT. So glad I stumbled upon them.
Thank you for such heartfelt words. It means so much to hear that the videos helped you through such a difficult time. You've come so far in your healing journey - be proud of your strength and resilience! 💜
Thank you, will try this and hoping my IC symptoms get better, finally got in with a pelvic floor PT, hopeful! Bought IC Solution book and want to more of your classes!
So glad you're working with a pelvic floor PT for your IC symptoms! It's wonderful that you're taking a comprehensive approach with education and exercises. Keep up that hopeful spirit - you're taking great steps toward healing! 💜
Thank you for your videos, they have proved extremely invaluable to me. I am SO grateful I came across them. I'm interested do you work with many patients who are hypermobile? I have this and although my pelvic floor is strong it's still weak. It's so frustrating!
Yes, hypermobility can make pelvic health tricky - it's common to feel both strong and weak. Consider working with a PT who understands hypermobility to find the right balance for your body! 💜 ~ Vibrant Support
What would you advise for a male pelvic floor strain right above anus? Been doing baths, slight stretches and then ice. It doesn't hurt almost at all but with ice I can feel the problem spot more. What would you advise?
For a pelvic floor strain in that area, your current approach sounds good - just add some gentle pelvic floor releases and keep movements easy while it heals. If symptoms persist, check with a pelvic PT. ~ Vibrant Support
Hi dr. Bri! I have hypertonic PF and have a pulling sensation in my vagina when I use leg press machine and squeeze my legs together. How would i go about fixing this? I need to sqeeze people between my knees/legs since I do brazilan jujitsu and being in the posion in crucial for practicing, but the pulling sensation is very uncomfortable and makes me worry that i may prolapse.
While martial arts are important to you, that pulling sensation needs attention - please work with a pelvic floor PT who can help modify your training techniques and strengthen your pelvic floor safely for BJJ. 💜 ~ Vibrant Support
