What's your favorite water seed?
for the first one laara, cotton blossom is up the hill a little. It's a bit of a walk away, but it's really the only one that is that far away, and it's easy to miss.

Thanks for the seeds! This game has so much potential and I think they have more planned though I do not see any updates or anything like I am sure there leaning on water world's with fishery's and docks with boats as you were saying earlier it would be sweet to see it even if the animations where basic.

And here I am on my first playthrough and you ppl are mentioning case sensitive seeds? :) My seed is GOOD-EFFECT and i was thinking that seed that im going to plant will have good effect. Cant stop laughing.

I didn't realize there were seeds that give only 4 breakthroughs. I guess I've been lucky 'cause I always got 5. (400+ hrs to date) But these days I've been playing the Project-X mod, so breakthroughs are immaterial in that mod (you get access to them all, many via the survivors' known techs). Mods or not, Saltu seems to be the "easy mode" planet. No nests on Saltu. It was introduced with the Military scenario, but seems to fit the Trading scenario much better. I love Saltu for the Purpleleaf. A research away from cloth forever and sticks as a bonus! Another excellent vid; thank you.
One quick (annoying-English-teacher-trained) point, and you're not alone in this, as I too mispronounced it for the longest time. That would be the totally weird word "chitin." (I know, you're saying chitlins to be funny, I think). The "chi" is actually pronounced with the alternate form "chi," in other words, hard ch and long i. It's pronounced KAI-tn.
Thank you for the feedback! This is the second time someone's informed me that it's mispronounced 😅 I was also told Chitin is pronounced with the same Ch sound as Christmas. If I'm reading that correctly, should it sound like cretin?
FLY-FIGURE in Sobrius crash is at the top of a mountain with a rock wall on 2 1/2 sides...great for defending. I built the houses on the hillside. When I'd start to get stressed I'd pan out to look at the amazing views. Also RATE-EVENT in Saltu is a great building location. I did GUITAR-SMILE in Desertum then moved my people down 2 levels to an incredible, easily defendable canyon. Enjoy!

All unguarded nests were patched some time ago and they no longer exist, so MIGHT-FIELD and FINAL-HEAVY are no longer as good as they were.
For Saltu check out FEW-TASTE. Lots of loam soil and beautiful location.

Try Saltu with STEERT-GOLD. You land surrounded by harvestable plants and next to three small pools. Down the hill a little ways is a large lake. Don't miss the coconut palms next to the pools.

Hey, what’s the AI like in this? Been put off buying it from some reviews saying it isn’t so good
I’m a fan, I find this game pretty addictive with lots of replay value. Part of the fun is figuring out how to manage your characters efficiently, so the AI isn’t completely self sufficient but you can manage them to get to a place where they can automate the way you want them to. The monsters are constantly improving each time the devs put out new updates so past reviews could be out of date. It just depends on what specifically they were looking at.

Have you tried the new DLC yet? I am on the fence about it, seeing mixed opinions :/
I’ve been playing it all day 😊 I’m really enjoying it, but I’m not sure how many features came with the dlc and which with the new update… will figure out how to share it on my channel asap 😄
@@dddweller I played it all day yesterday too lol, without the DLC, and what i found so far in the update is, multistory buildings, drones, and roof solar panels 😀

"After a year", I can't seem to make it more than about 10 days before I get crashes within 2-3 minutes of starting a load. No Mods, with Mods, doesn't matter.
That’s unfortunate 😕 I’ve gone up to four years so far without issue. I wonder if maybe it’s a graphics setting that can be adjusted perhaps?
