Thank you for this PBQ video, I took my N+ certification exam today, this was the first PBQ that came out I killed it same time😂 thanks I passed the exam 💃🏾
@Abigail I bought the messer pdf and watched the free TH-cam N+ playlist in his page and took a bunch of practice tests but these videos helped me pass the pbq's.
I had this on my exam, but I had another one dealing with switches. You think you could make a video going over turning on and off ports on a switch as well as LACP?
They are. Each PBQ is not worth the same as regular questions. If you can get all of the PBQ's almost completely correct, you will pass unless you get only 50% of the regular questions correct lol.
The IP addresses will be provided to you in the simulation exam, I broke it down in 3 parts for Access points 1, 2 and 3 for the explanation, but there will be a virtual setting on your screen that you will be able to modify.
The question asks for the APs to be configured with maximum speed. Do we need to configure the APs with "auto" to match the switch or configure the APs for the maximum speed the APs support (1 Gbps)?
Does anyone know why he chose wireless mode G? isntead of a better one? I am guessing there was only like A B and G on the exam so 2.4 at 54mbs is the best answer....?
I know it has been a bit but my only thought on this is that of the options is listed (maybe only A, B, or G as choices) it was the fastest speed with the best range. The question has the phrase "maximum speed" and 2.4ghz has better range then 5ghz.
Hi they also have other sim about Switch 1 need to configure with the switch 3. The nodes need to use a tags to be able to send data to each other. Do you have this sim ready?
The question states that the maximum number of devices per access point is 30. 30 devices would fit exactly in a /27 subnet (32 -2 IP's). If this answer doesn't make sense watch the subnetting series on the Practical Networking channel, makes it very easy to understand CIDR notation and subnetting questions.
@@cr7neymar908 he’s using G since the question says that the channels are not overlapping. If he uses N, AC, and AX will be the honeycomb like channel that doesn’t need 1, 6 and 11
WPA: Uses a passphrase, like asked in the question. WPA Enterprise: Uses a username and password for each individual user. And it's not WPA2 because that uses AES, while WPA uses TKIP.
Hi u use a cidr calculator in yr xample, in d xam dere is no such. I hv to use a table or memorize the cidr table to gt host per network. So xample don't help, give a quick solution to gt to d ratio.tx for simulations😊
Hi, thx for your comment and suggestion, I was thinking of putting it just in case someone is working on the filed like I do and wanted to know about network prefixes if they are building a network with computers and wanted to know how to set they IP scope for more than 30 computers.
Hi, thank you for your comment, the recommenced channels to achieve the best stability and for all device to be able to find wireless network are 1, 5 or 11 with 2.4GHz
Just passed my Network+ exam yesterday and passed 781.. this was on the test !! Thanks man .. bless
Well done!
N10-008?
yes the current series is 008, and i think @2779Ducky took that one too unless for someone reason he decided to take the old one lol@@mekaelejigu6163

Passed my Exam today and this was the first question that came up 😂
Thank God I watched this this morning. Literally had this question.
are all the PBQs he shows us on the Net+ 008?
I wish I had seen this earlier before I sat for my N+ exam . Thanks sir 🙏 This is a very important information.
Always welcome

did you take it again and pass it?

Wait did the simulation give you the IP's for the APs or did you have to calculate those?
Look at 0:57 below the diagram. It is given to you. Tough to see though.
Why did you use 802.11g?
Thank you so much for this
These pbq should be worth way more on the exam since it takes up so much time
From What I understand, they are worth the most points.

A quick question ❓
Why do we have a gateway as . 2 instead of . 1?
The default gateway was given to you in the beginning as 192.168.1.2
had this pbq today on the test

The question asks for the APs to be configured with maximum speed. Do we need to configure the APs with "auto" to match the switch or configure the APs for the maximum speed the APs support (1 Gbps)?
Yes, it will depend on the switch's speed
Speed 100 Duplex Full
Maximum speed if using TKIP. It's a trick because they tell you to use WPA not WPA2 which is tkip
Can u do a pbq explanation to read getinfo output for wifi and protocol analyser for Ethernet. Tx , vids are very helpful
You choose WiFi G which uses TKIP but also AES. The question said to use only TKIP for encryption.
WPA only supports TKIP
Is this on N008?? Anybody can confirm?
007 for sure
I can confirm! This is on N-008 too!

Hi, I took this sim before but the speed is marks ask 100. Didn’t say anything about Auto speed and duplex. Should I chose Auto for both?
Yes, unless it specifies a specific setting it should be set to auto... If it says something about having issue with duplexing, you'll set it to full

maybe The router support only G speed which is 54mbps i am sure N is better but it depend of what option you have in there
