Mel C is one of the few artists I admire. She’s so down to earth, humble and real. Love the Spice girls tho, I was not alive when they came out but they’re timeless and still impacting new generations. Luv them. I even made a Spice girls fan acc for fun and they follow me 😂 (the official SG account)
She's my favorite Spice Girl. They got together a few months before I was born. I was a baby and young child during their career. I'm 27 now, and I took up an interest in them just last year. It was after seeing her on Dancing with the Stars. She was amazing on that, and she's an incredible singer and person. I really [really] want to read her book.
She should've walked out to her own songs: "I Turn To You" & "Never Be The Same Again" were and are those dance songs. The house and techno songs in early 00s were *chef's kiss*

@@HH-gv8mx you mean other groups? Because the Spice Girls remain friends. Most recently four of them were at the wedding of Victoria's son. The only one missing was Geri because she was at a Formula 1 race with her husband.

Spice Girls meant the whole world to me as a kid. And in many ways they shaped my vision of women...five fun, beautiful, intelligent, talented girls they represented the whole generation of free-thinking young people.
But miss Chisholm...her voice forever imprinted in my heart, and vocally to me Spice Girls is Mel C. Thank you Spice Girls for lighting up the childhood and early teens of so many kids out there and for creating the Real Thing named THE GIRL POWER♥️(even though i'm not a girl i'm deeply grateful to them for contributing to my healthy and respectful behavior towards the women. Always)

@@HH-gv8mx Well; Emma Bunton AKA Baby Spice said that they all still get along great "the way sisters do." Besides I am proud of all the girls for their accomplishments in both their personal and professional lives.
Spice Girls defined my adolescence & still to this day am a loyal fan!! …was lucky enough to attend their ROTSG tour in both Los Angeles & Montreal !! & I handed her a bouquet of roses when I went to her solo show (Mel C) in Winnipeg; 2007, it was a theatre style more intimate venue in comparison to the stadiums. She accepted them and was so kind & thankful, I’ll never forget it. Two quick final points, she did great on DWTS last season and (obviously) just ordered her book online. Thanks @TheView for having her on. Loved it!
I spent 8 years in and out of hospitals, treatment programs, being force fed because of my eating disorder. So many of us do our best to raise awareness because we are still so far behind where we should be in breaking down the myths about eating disorders, and the fact that people are still dying because they can’t get treatment. Insurance is still denying coverage based on weight, which should never be the only indicator they look at. Many deaths from eating disorders happen when a person is at a stable weight, or even overweight. I remember when my parents put me in residential treatment as a teen and within two wks insurance was trying to push me to day treatment. I ended up leaving treatment being told I should go to the ER because I had relapsed in day treatment, when they begged insurance to put me back in 24 hour they were told to discharge me. My parents didn’t have the 45-60,000 a month. I’m only alive because I ended up under the care of an amazing adolescent doc who specialized in EDs, and would even take women close to 30. I owe him my life. I wish people would take the time to learn about EDs and destroy all the myths. Stop looking a person’s body and assuming they do or do not have an ED…come in all shapes and sizes, and should all be taken serious.

Honestly Melanie C had the most memorable voice in The Spice Girls and sang some of the most iconic lyrics. I have SO many memories of rewinding my Spice World VHS tape to rewatch it again and again as well as having all of the Spice Girls dolls and my cousin would always want to “be” Baby Spice when we were playing with our dolls (anyone who grew up with Barbie dolls understands what I mean). I was also obsessed with The Backstreet Boys, NSync, Britney, all of the iconic artists growing up (I was born in 1991 and just turned 31 on Tuesday) as well as my OBSESSION with Mary Kate & Ashley. I had every single product they sold lmao. I would always be Mary Kate too when we would play with their Barbie dolls. I had all of the Barbies for every boy band and singer too. 😂
Man, it was the best. I wish I could go back and relive those memories sometimes.

We were on a camping holiday in Wales when we heard Ginger was leaving. My two girls were so inconsolable we had to pack up and go home. When my daughter did jewelry design at uni she made two silver rings with Spice Girls Forever engraved on the inside instead of a hallmark

She’s always been respectful and appreciative person despite the juvenile haters that can’t carry a tune themselves 😂

I am so blessed that I was 11-12 years old when the Spice Girls came out. Was such an exciting time! They were EVERYTHING to me and just before everyone had the internet. So, we didn't have unlimited access to them which made it more exciting!
I could not even believe Mel C was on the view when I saw the thumbnail, I clicked sooo fast, but btw to other spice girls fans out there.. do you ever feel annoyed when its portrayed like wannabe was their only hit? ALL of their songs were amazing and did soo well in the charts, their other songs are just as good as wannabe, actually better

I really don't get annoyed because in the US they will be forever remembered for 'Wannabe' because that's their most iconic song. Since the US market is so competitive and people forget quickly about music artists, as long as people remember them I'm good with that.

Me and my 2 sisters and 2 cousins, as kids used to pretend to be the Spice Girls. I remember wanting to pick being Baby Spice but the oldest siblings got the pick first, lmfao. I was second to youngest, so by the end I could only pick between Scary Spice and Sporty Spice. I liked Sporty having such a powerful voice, so I picked her. Lol, each and every one of the Spice Girls is great though.
