- A compilation video showing the Spice Girls journey to, during and after their sensational Olympics performance in 2012 in London. It starts with the rumours before the olympics, followed by rehearsal footage and a video edit I've made of the performance itself. The second half of the video is a compilation of the Spice Girls talking about everything surrounding the olympics performance.

I can’t imagine that Olympics Closing Ceremony without them! They were the highlight of the night! It was actually THE Spice Girls featuring The Olympics.. 😅
to sing and stand in platform heels on a moving car is kind of amazing, also i LOVE the concept of the lighted taxis

21:00 World famous, sold millions of records... Sure, the main costume was custom made, but still sat Super Glueing jewels/sequins onto a pair of shoes for a once in a lifetime show herself. This epitomises how these women are still pretty well grounded, which is wonderful to see.

Even after all these years and I’ve seen the Olympics performance many times, I still get super excited and giddy and scream with excitement. I still get chills!!!
So impressed with this video, as a fan, I know that this can't have been easy to compile and must have taken hours of research! Some of these interviews even I had completely forgotten! Nice one! Great work! 😍
I’ve been doing my research for every video I have all together. I’ve spend a lot of time last year watching everything I could find anywhere from 1994-now and categorising it in files for many different video ideas. So I basically have that done now (thank god, I was so over it haha) and can focus on making videos which is more fun 😆
I have to say though, for some reason this video was the most difficult one to make up until now. The footage was difficult to arrange and string together

I’ve never been so proud of our girls than this performance!! Wish they did more of these special one off performances more. Like just a huge one off stadium concert that’s released on dvd

Going all the way back to 1984’s Olympics, the Spice Girls performance outshined all other acts! With the exception of Whitney Houston’s song, “One Moment In Time” which was done for the 1988 Olympics, no other act has come close to “Olympic domination” than the Spice Girls!

What a great work you did with this video. I remember I cried when they appeared in the ceremony and said to myself, this is the last time they will all be together, this is their goodbye. It was an amazing show.

I can't remember when this happened but it was amazing and soo the original girl power Spice Girls they came out the around the same time Nsync and Backstreet Boys they each had pride and respect in their country and History Ginger Spice with her union Jack dress and the girls were all British.

Victoria got really nervous on the day itself. She almost backed out.
Mel C seems to be the group spokesperson. She speaks the most, or at least in the clips I see.
Mel C does the most interviews because she has albums to promote. Geri, Mel B and Emma don’t do many of those and so they aren’t asked about Spice Girls as much. And with Victoria interviewers tend to forget that she was a Spice Girl and/or feel like she does more important stuff now. Unless she get’s interviewed in the US, thats when she get’s asked about spice girls sometimes

I think she's just good at keeping secrets and unfortunately she gets asked a lot since she does a lot of interviews promoting her solo work. But I think she genuinely was reluctant on the 2007/08 reunion and the 2019 reunion. She's the reluctant spice because she's the one who actually has a solo singing career. But the others know they can't do it without her. all of their songs are not the same without Melanie C's parts and her adlibs are always amazing. I love her!
