    I was reading R.S Sharma's India's Ancient Past, somehow while reading the book something was bothering me. So I was searching for other Historians books, then I came across your video. Taking ur suggestion I browse through R.C Majumder's Ancient India from the online archive. After some reading, the historical manipulation u were talking about became undoubtedly evident. I placed an order for the book, going to read it throughly. In the future I would love to read 'The History and Culture of the Indian People' its all 11 volume. Though I am not a history student. But I belive its very crucial for everyone to understand its true roots. Thanks a lot sir.🙏🙏🙏

      @@AjayKumarChaudhary-t1v It would be my humble suggestion to you sir, to Read R.C Majumders' Ancient India first, then just because u already have R.S Sharmas' book just compare the two just contents of various chapters (Atleast that's what I did).You'll understand how our history has been manipulated.

    Very true till 1947 the Hindu high is too good and people were more United in those times alone but after the bloody Nehru Civilization entire a generation lost the Hindu hope. Even within Hindu there are snakes being anti hindu.
    It's high time we start educating our children what is true.
    Send them to iskon, temples, gurukulas rather than sending them to missionary schools. Nothing is achieved there at the end of day. You will not be lived by English all the life. You have to stand on Dharma
    Learn Hindu literature. If it's complicated listen to saints sages and those who propagate hindu
    Eg. Chaganti koteswara garu, garikapati Garu (telugu).
    Never Ever be afraid of being Hindu.
    Feel Proud that you have Hindu blood which is source of this existence right from Satya, thretha, dwapara Yuga to Kali yuga

    Mughal history and British history of India is important for contemporary world as the social , political, economical condition today is very relevant to the situations and impact of those ..this is the reason this period of our indian history is prime part of syllabus and important to study primarily ... It is important to study why we became slave so that we don't repeat those mistakes .

    • @biengHamun
      @biengHamun ปีที่แล้ว +15

      We should know why we became slaves, but what has been written after that is rubbish. How Indians were portrayed as workers for the empire is what is taught to us, instead of how Indians struggled throughout that period and fought for freedom was either removed or just briefly ended with a line. When I read the struggle of freedom led by Nelson Mandela and other people, it inspired me. When I did that for our struggle all I found was, how amazing the Mughals were and they gave us such rich art. How the Brits gave us the blessings of English and made us civilized... Those same Brits now come to our country and look for our culture abandoning their own. So what good is our history book? Except helping qualify UPSC

      Are you planning to, or by any chance passed from JNU? You have to clear away the foggy cloud of secularism, liberalism from your mind. Roots of Ancient Indian civilization is spread till span of southern and norther American dating even before the time of Mayank and Olmec, we have (had) a knowledge base that educated the entire world and our universities were burned down by intruders. And you think Mughal histor and british histor is important. Bro read Gita and Ramayan. You anit-Indian sentiments may be due to 2 reasons, 1.) your mind is clouded with fad ideas or liberalism 2.) You are born of either British or Mughal father.

      If you really like history , you have to study by yourself . The history taught in school is not wrong , history overall is supposed to teach a person to realise their mistakes and go ahead.
      As far as I know despite the RTI point that respect deepak sir makes , there is plenty research done at least according to sources tagged on Wikipedia , which suggests that the mughals did in fact build and preserve temples albeit this was done in order to please the Rajputs who were hindu communities.
      They were simultaneously also responsible for destroying multiple temples.
      Learning history is never wasted as they act as case studies.
      Apart from that there are plenty of indian poets in language based classes for regional as well as hindi lectures , most of the english lit work is derived from english classics at least back when I did my schooling , although I do remember the books did change to more simpler language while we had much tougher english.
      Most of the NCERT books only touch up on things at most mentioning one or two lines about something including history books, in fact they do actually summarise events like plassey or whole biographies in one paragraph , in every subject they are meant to provide you an introduction on everything , there were plenty of references to indian culture and dances etc. as far as I remember , and im pretty sure there used be a subsection of SST in lower grades where they did teach that.
      Hence they are also considered great material to study from .

      @@ramyaaaa Why?? Being a history department student from DELHI UNIVERSITY and JNU I know what j.sai deepak is saying. Marxist Historians has their own propoganda which is only economic centric and full of feudalistic approach. D.D koshambi imposed the direct european feudalism theory on Indian society which was inspired by the european marxist scholar known as Marc Bloch. Do you really think that comparing European society and Indian society from the perspective of a western marxist scholar is a good thing??
      You can come and debate anyday. From satish chandra books to Romila thapar books Or from Karl max to lynn white jr...

    • @ramyaaaa
      @ramyaaaa 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@KumarKumar-sp5mn then you must also know that old Marxist theories have been refuted and revised. I do not subscribe to the Marxist way of thinking but I would never say that historians belonging to this school of thought are idiots. Marxist frameworks are good for looking at things from a particular perspective. But they are not absolute - nothing is absolute, at the end of the day. I know what being context specific means and I also know that Marxist theories are best suited for the transition debate & 18th-19th century Europe. India was diverse, and still is, but his (Deepak’s) approach is not correct, in my opinion. This guy is also talking about Jadunath Sarkar. Why aren't you questioning the credibility of his claim, being a history student & all? even his theories have been debated upon by historians. I also think that this guy shouldn't be taken seriously because he said that Romila Thapar, Irfan Habib should be thrown out of this country. Is this not his own propaganda ? Whatever, their viewpoints are, he has no right to claim who should and shouldn't be a part of this country. He is a lawyer, not a historian so I don't expect him to have all the historical knowledge in this world either.

      The history which we read in our NCERT books is flawed and is written with bias against Hindus.
      For eg, the NCERT mentions how great Mughals were , how secular Akhbar was ( according to NCERT he was a secular who built temples which is utterly false), the disgusting part is glorification of Gandhi and Nehru, calling the real freedom fighters radical , Aryan invasion theory, the so called great mother Teresa, Raja rammohan Roy and his lies, etc.
      Not a single line about AZAAD HIND FAUJ and The real father of nation Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

      @@parthgautam4605 Marxist historiography represents Indian history as a running theme of exploitation” and there is nothing in the textbooks about Indian achievements in maths and science. Left historians “attacked the sanctity of the cow and Brahmins” by claiming that beef was a staple in ancient India for which there is no evidence.
      He said marxist school of nonsense bcz our books do not tell us about real rulers. I am sure you must have also noticed that in the chapters about of the great rulers of india we are being taught about mughals , how come mughals = great indian rulers. They were invaders. Marxism do not allow any space of yogic studies. No spiritual studies as well.
      Their whole agenda is to make people of india ( particularly all hindus which includes sikhs, budhist, jains, etc) believe in Aryan Invasion Theory even though they do not have any evidence to prove it.
      This is all marxist nonsense.

    Again you asking to repeat the same mistake sir. Completely ingoring the Mughal history is not a healthy way. Sorry to say this it's reminding me of right wing vs left wing that I watched last night on TV news. Why both of these eliminated by Ctrl+alt+delete ? Somehow now we become mixed bag of all religions so our history books also should be touching all of the information (about Mughals as well as hindutva and others ) so it must not feels lopsided

      What he means by Bharat behaved as one he means it as a civilization,where all of the Indian from all parts of the nation saw each other as part of one culture,now you would say but there was no concept on India or Bharat but no there was a concept of Bharat before the British and Mughals ,India has been mentioned as Bharatvarsha in Vishnu Purana, Vayu Purana, Linga Purana, Brahmanda Purana, Agni Purana, Skanda Purana, Khanda and Markandaya Purana. Vishnu Purana clearly says in it
      उत्तरं यत्समुद्रस्य हिमाद्रेश्चैव दक्षिणम् । वर्षं तद् भारतं नाम भारती यत्र संततिः ।।
      This shloka means: “The country that lies north of the ocean and south of the snowy mountains is called Bharatam; there dwell the descendants of Bharata.
      And though the kings and Emperors of Bharat had fought with eachother but when we were attacked by outside forces we have seen that many times Kings put there differences aside to resist the invader ,like When the Indo Greek emperor Menander or Milinda as we Indians know him invaded the Shungas and reached the patliputra,we know that they suddenly retreated back there were many reasons for this like rebellious population of Patliputra, Pushyamitra Shunga threatened to cut their logistics,but one reason was that king Kalinga Kharvela of the Mahameghvan dynasty threatened to invade, when the Arabs were Invading Bharat they were resisted by Kashmir's Lalitaditya to the Chalukyan king Vikramaditya II in today's Karnataka, an arc of resistance kept the invaders at bay for centuries

      @@kenkaneki4925 thanks for the reply. we too call a particular area as middle east but doesn’t a country right … in ancient texts they used to call a particular land by its boundaries that doesn’t mean it was a nation by that time. Even Porus stopped Alexander at his place that doesn’t mean he stopped Alexander entering India that was their individual battle. We shouldn’t rely on puranic names as we can’t date them. My intention is that all the battles were to protect their individual benefits rather than a nationality feeling and this is true for mughals also.
