    I would LOOOVE a video about how to find your own personal makeup style. I feel like I'm either constantly experimenting or trying to make someone else's style work on me. I haven't had a "signature look" since high school.

      What if that’s your style? Being curious and experiment with makeup :-) Have you tried collaging makeup you love and look for the patterns. I bet your friends would also be able to tell you :-) And - I second the video idea, great suggestion! 🎉❤

      One thing I found that helped with finding my personal style was observing what I naturally or normally do. For example, I found myself putting on sunscreen and then not wanting to put on foundation after that. Being protected with sunscreen is very important to me, and also the idea of putting on foundation became a chore. Therefore, I’m accepting that and using tinted SPF or skin tint that contains SPF, and I won’t be purchasing any heavier foundations in the future. Plus, finding out my seasonal color helped me figure out that people with my coloring don’t really need foundation anyway due to our natural luminosity. So, I am happy to invest in sunscreens that look especially nice, especially knowing that I don’t have to purchase foundation. Also, with the color analysis, I know what colors not to buy, and that made things much simpler. Anyway, all that to say, just take a step back and observe yourself. Hope that helps!

    I feel like the pomegranate makeup trend could be something people with acne scars can play around with. Wearing light or no base with blush could be an interesting way to have the acne spots be the spotlight in the look rather than something to cover up

    i’m not big on trends but i think the boyfriend blush trend is adorable. it’s the one trend i’ve actually tried on my round face and i actually liked it on my face shape, and i used a warm nude blush shade i have and love. i natural freckles which i appreciate so much more than when i was younger, so luckily i didn’t have to add faux freckles. ♥️♥️♥️

    Tbh, I CANNOT find one color blush that looks good on me or with my skin tone. Nothing looks good on me. It makes me so upset seeing everyone wear any and every color they want. I can’t find one. I’m very light and Neutral-ish very olive.

    • @swesttttt
      @swesttttt หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Fellow Olive & grey person here… for blush, you might try a BRIGHT, almost candy pink or lilac or a purplish pink. It’s probably gonna look scary in the pan, and you might think you need something more neutral because of how it seems like ones that other people rave about don’t look right, but you’d be surprised at how it can wake up an olive undertone, particularly if you’re a cool-leaning olive.
      Alternatively, you might be someone who just doesn’t feel natural in a blush-y type look. Try experimenting with different tones in bronzers, and maybe you’ll discover that what looks like bronzer on others looks like a natural blush for YOU.

      I’m also fair olive grey person… I hate to add confusion, but for me the most flattering shades are always the grayest/most cool neutral out of the bunch! The shade goldy cassis is a muted mauve purple in the essence pure nude blush and it’s the most flattering ever on me i think. Or the shade Hope in rare beauty. I also find soft sheer reds can look nice as well, ones that don’t pull bright magenta or bright orange, like the shade “cherry” in the juicy pang water blusher. Basically nothing harsh or bold! But try out what the other commenter said too and see what works :)
