@@Akhas-z1g considering Sam Darnold's resurgence and the Vikings not having Addison or Hockenson and without JJ for the 4th, it's definitely both coaches.
We have to also keep in mind he completed 28 out of 36. That’s 78%… so we are criticizing 8 misses in these clips. I thinks asking a third year qb to be perfect near 90% of the times is crazy. He had over 300 passing yards when nfl qbs are struggling to even hit 200 yards. Purdy big mistake was the fumble. Without that they prob win. Aldo let’s remember they had a punt blocked and recovered….. special teams are continuing front superbowl. Last week has fumble on punt catch too… a lot of areas to improve on but believe they can do it. Let’s get the rams
Purdy had a Purdy hard time finding open receivers, other than the Int, he still passed 300+ yards. Vikings just had a great defense and knew who they had to cover.
Statistically, the Vikings were middle of the pack as a defense last year. They just have the 49ers number for some reason. Hopefully Shanahan will figure it out eventually.
Ya I’m not worried but it is a disappointing loss. Games like this sometimes come back to bite u near the end of the season where u miss out on the #1 seed by a game. So hopefully that doesn’t happen but either way the niners will be in the mix and we will just have to see if they can climb the mountain again.
I disagree, coach M.Mac in Seattle is doing some good things. But we'll see by the end of the year who ran a better Defense. I will say Flores is awsome for stalling the shit out of the Shannahan Jr. Tree offenses. All the long sideline to sideline crossing patterns and zone running bootlegs and play actions.
First play with that coverage, CJ would take the checkdown to the open RB and let him work in space rather than throw into double coverage. Vikings are getting a similar offense but not similar QBs. It's going to be a great game with alot of intriguing matchups.
Also the play after that I don't know that the Vikings "knew" because 9ers are famously impossible to predict on offense as they have no tendencies or tells. I think they were just up on that because it was 3rd and 3 and they were jumping on everything short, including a run.

Purdy thinks in a structured way. The Vikings Defense took him out of structure, which left him helpless, similar to what the Ravens did last year. Stroud, if the expectations are correct, will grasp what is going on and score much more.
Purdy missed some reads but credit to the Vikings defense and DC. This week the Vikings host the Texans and stroud. People don’t wanna give Purdy his flowers so they just think Purdy sucked. However if the Vikings D clamps down on Stroud it’s gonna put the Vikings on the map as a serious contender.
I don't think you can call anyone a serious contender if their QB has never played in the postseason. The 49ers or Packers will represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.
I'll tell you what went wrong, it's week 2, niners played monday then played a 10am game across the country, and shanahan got outcoached. 49ers are also the oldest team in the league (also niners haven't won in MIN since 92, not saying that factored in, but there's always some weird sports voodoo involving 2 random teams where stuff like that happens)

And also you dont know what the play is, maybe the design was to read that bunch or he seen something pre snap that made him cut off that whole side of the field. Still wouldve liked to see him get off of that and hit the checkdown, 9/10 times he does and makes the right decisions.
Did you just say Brock isn’t used to making reads post snap…. That’s his entire game.

I think the Vikings have two excellent coaches KOC and Flores. In the Salary Cap era, great coaches are a huge competitive advantage.
Speaking of salary cap. They have managed to build this roster while leaving wiggle room with the salary cap for years to come.
It’s all Flores baby.
@@Akhas-z1g considering Sam Darnold's resurgence and the Vikings not having Addison or Hockenson and without JJ for the 4th, it's definitely both coaches.
This is very insightful statement. Coaches don’t count as cap so having a great one really helps like Andy Reid for example

Last year doesn’t mean that much. There’s a ton of roster turnover year to year
Over half of the starters are different, as well as many of the rotational pieces. It's almost entirely new personnel.
@@TJ-ix3km they looked pretty damn good, I'll say that. The season will reveal if it's them or just the 49ers offense underperforming.

Great video ! Where do you find the games to do video analysis ?
What went wrong was that the Vikings have a really good defense.
That defense alone can bring them to the playoffs, but their offense is good too, even with a banged up roster.

That 4th and Goal play I think you misread. Gink tipped that at the line, that's why the throw was so off and seemed like players not on same page.

the Vikings defense were really good. they had all the important people locked in and locked down.
The 3rd and 3 run by mason is just bad vision puni shifts in motion for grass open leading to a block by Aaron banks it's those little things
Packers fans have to root for the vikings now lol
The vikings beating the Niners in the playoffs is the only way the Pack ever makes another SB
Pump the breaks on that one a little. Packers will be happy to make wild card.

6:40 Purdy was just late to juice. Both aiyuk and deebo were double covered. One underneath one above.
There are usually two or three games a year when they just don’t have it….
